What Next?

Well I planted 3 seeds, and they sprouted. I'm new to the growing process. But bascally the 3 seeds I planted I was gonna use as my experment, too figure the growing process out. Well I got a pot, about the size of 10in subwofer, With my 3 seeds that I planted. Well they sprouted, there all about 3in. I dont know what to do next? Im watering them 1 time a week just to keep the soil moist, with holes in the bottom. Im not gonna lie, I'm pretty excated to see them. Haha Anyways, is there anything that yall could help me with? Should I wait till they get bigger, to put them in seperate pot's? How much water do they need? Is there any chemicals I need to buy or Lighting? I'm trying to wait and save a little cash for some lighting but, would keeping in front of the window work? Like I said I'm new to this but wanna do it the correct way to grow a plant, and have a little fun with this.
Anyone???

separate pots asap, let tap water sit out for a day to let chlorine evaporate, let soil dry between waterings, you could do superthrive as nutrients for now, get better stuff when they're bigger. go to your local hydro store and look around, ask questions, say your growing 'tomatoes' if anyone asks. as for lighting get some cfl's from your local hardware store and rig a setup, check out the journals section and see what people are using. also the newbie section has some good info, you should read up on some stuff before asking such broad questions though, tip of the iceberg my friend, read and research = results. good luck

well thank you all. I do have some work to do. After Class tomr, I will separate them. As far as the nutrients' I could buy, what could I find at a local store. Like Wal-mart, whats a good fertilizer etc..... Around? Ok thank you all

I was simply asking a few question.

Ok, I just got my lights well, is it ok to leave the lights on It all day, all night? Or is there a cycle I need to put it on? Please, thanks for the help!

to start leave them on 24/7 then in a couple weeks 18/6 then in two months 12/12...what lights did you get? have you transplanted them into individual pots yet? any ventilation going on? if you are going to go with walmarts nutes, get superthrive, it will be the only one you'll need. Stay away from MiracleGro unless you love chemicals.

yes I have put them in separate pots, I went to home depot and I told them I was growing Tomatoes inside because of the cold temperatures, of course he winked at me lol. I was gonna ask you all, if this would work but, I have 1 in the light of my closet with the 3 plants on the top shelf about 6ft from the light. I figured something else would of been better but until I get payed, this was the best I could do. So ventilation, do I need to passably put a fan on the top shelf? Thank you all. Well I just read that I got the completely wrong light. WTF. Well, Could I keep using this, or what exactly do I need to tell home depot I need? Can I still keep these lights on it 24hrs, from now and hit up home depot tomr?
