Dynagro vs. AN:
Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

Dynagro vs. GH:
Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

Ill be switching to Dynagro soon!

my plants love miracle gro at $6 a box. if you think you really need to overpay for nutes i'm sure someone will be in here soon to recommend something you can shell out more bucks for.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I did a grow with miracle grow one summer and another grow the next summer with nuteless soil and added nutes and seen a definitive increase in yield and trichs. Miracle grow is definitely not ideal for marijuana grows. In fact, at the moment MG is targeting the medical marijuana market and is in the works of creating a soil specifically for marijuana. Google it. Not saying it won't work cause like I said, I used it. But IMHO, don't use it.

I'm using House & Gardens full line minus Shooting Powder. I subbed in Advanced Nutrients Overdrive instead. Many people do good with many different types of nutes. I'd say just use what works for you man. Try out different things until you find something you like. I found I like H&G with one AN product.

you didn't rain on anything of mine. i bought into the whole scam of needing specific nutes just for weed when i first started growing too. i've tried them all and i feel like a big dummy for over paying all those years. sorry about pissing on your leg.

I know what you mean, I overpayed for AN like a idiot cause a friend recommended them. I will switch to DynaGro, they don't have a bunch of unnecessary additives like AN, just the necessary root growth stimulator, bloom enhancers, and such. Plus much cheaper than AN. No ones pissing on my leg, I'm just giving my opinion, your welcome to yours. I just think you missed the point of my last post, did you even google it? If MG is good for growing marijuana why would they be in the process of creating a soil specifically for growing marijuana.

Cyco Brand Nutrients for the win. This company was just started by one of the research scientist that used to work for AN. This stuff is much better at 1/3 the cost. I just grew 6 plants to harvest for about $40 in nutrients.

i read the article a couple of months ago when it first came out. miracle gro already has good marijuana growing products, it's going to be marketing and cool graphics that gets their name in the grow shops.

This is a quote from the Wall Street Journal:
"To target marijuana growers, Scotts would likely buy niche dirt companies that already exist rather than create its own line of branded products."

Sounds to me like its more than just marketing. If they plan on targeting MMJ then they are going to have to create a new line of products specifically for marijuana. Because most experienced growers know MG is not IDEAL for growing marijuana. I know, I've tested the results for MG grows and non-MG grows, experience and experiments are FAR better then words from you or people that think MG is good for marijuana.

Two Scientist got together and threw a bunch of Chemical's together. They then planted some tomatoes with this chemical concoction. One of the scientist looked at the other and said "Dam! It is a Miracle Anything grew in that crap". From then on we have had Miracle Grow.:lol::lol:

blue mystic growm in mg, under a 400hps.

Again my friend, I am not saying it won't grow in MG. Cause if you read my previous posts, I use to grow in MG. One of my caregiver friends just did a hydro grow of some Blue Mystic and that shit looked more dank and more full(bud wise)than this.... no offense. As a matter of fact I'm smoking some at the moment! lol, not a bad looking bud though.

Let's not get in to a bicer match! Lol! Back to the question @ hand: I think technaflora BC line is the best, just my opinion, and I don't think its BUYING into the more expensive nutes, I. Think its more importants as to what is IN them, MG isn't fomulated for growing mari, as in the certain amount of nutes and trace nutes found in it. But shit, give her water and dirt, and she will still grow! Hence the term "weed" :)
