What nutrients do you use to grow your Canadian meds

GH Maxi Gro ,Bloom and Koolbloom.
Soon to be switching to Jacks Citrus + Cal Sulfate + Epson and Aquagold for Flower.

Saves tons of money. Elements are elements, organic and non organic are not separate. Calcium is Calcium no matter how you use it.
I'm trying the citrus in veg and will run it straight through outdoor on one plant to see how it does this summer. You find a Canadian distributor for Jack's? I bought some direct to try it but shipping is expensive.

I know RM3 uses Citrus in Veg and Aquagold in Flower. However alot of growers use citrus all the way though.
Amazon has it in 1.5lb for $36 free shipping, however you still may get duty. I would just order direct from jr depending.. What size and how much was shipping in CAD?

I can get Jack's there's a wholesaler I deal with carries which reminds me I was suppose to call them and get a couple of bags of the citrus stuff.

They only sell the 1.5lb. buckets direct from their site. Shipping fedex is the only option to Canada and $48 (US), doesn't really matter how much how you buy, here's a sample/mock order I did online to see what their shipping is. Could be cheaper for a couple of buckets on Amazon all-in. Even if there was duty it would be minimal. Can't remember if I got dinged with duty it was a while back.

Yeah thanks, was just looking to see if they had any of the large retailers or gardening centers up here where I could go grab a bucket if I needed it. It would be whole lot cheaper without shipping costs. Not using a lot of it, particularly just to try some of their different products.

Just an example looking at my last cost in March Jacks 20-10-20 non Citrus 1Kg with shipping include I would do aprox $30 after taxes depending on your province. In BC there's only GST as its a plant food.

calcium nitrate is a double vegetative food, ie Ca is primarily a veg mineral and nitrate is the veg form of nitrogen. vegging plants want more nitrate and flowering plants want more ammonia. so using calmag based on calcium nitrate during flowering is not ideal. there are thousands of different calcium based molecules in nature and lots of these break down very slowly. Calcium sulfate is an appropriate form of calcium to use during flowering as sulfur is primarily a flowering mineral. soft rock phosphate is another good flowering calcium. crustacean meal and bone meal as well.

My supplier tried to order the Citrus but wasn't listed on his available products. He asked for a link to the product so I sent it. Normally he has to order 48 11.5kg bags at a time but he's gonna see if he can squeeze 6 bags on the next big order his has. Will know later today if I can order that small mount, I also don't see bigger bags listed on the JR site.

Considering how much AN hate goes on in some of the threads on RUI, its surprising to see how many people us it here.

I use AN:
Sensi Grow A & B
Voodoo
B52

Sensi Bloom A&B
Voodoo
B52
Big Bud
Overdrive

I know... expensive... but it works great.

currently:

Indoor:
AN Sensi Grow A&B
AN Connoisseur Bloom A&B
AN Bud Ignitor, Bud Factor X, Big Bud & Overdrive
AN Tarantula & Voodoo

Pro-Silicate, for silica and PH adjustments

Hearty B's

Cannazym

white vinegar for PH adjustments

Flood and Drain w/ Grow Stone medium

400 - 1000w bulbs of MH &/or HPS

Run base nutrients @ ~300ppm, try and aim for 6.0 PH as my current strains seem to develop mag def or lock up at <6.0ph

Outdoors:
Coco, Perlite, Vermiculite, Grow Stone (small), HP Pro mix Michorizae (sp?

home brewed organic tea's

I will be swapping out the AN products for Innovating Plant Products as they run out.

At some point I will be switched to COB led lighting.

When my situation allows I will buy bulk and mix my own hydro nutrients.

un instigated opinions:

Big Bud and X-Factor do nothing noticeable. Ignitor and Overdrive do what they claim.

Hearty B's is amazing for cuttings and shock. Only need a few drops/L.

***edit:

cuttings; DIY aeroponics with 2.5ml Hearty B's / 10L water, 6.0 ph, 10 day roots @ 100% success

Seeds; Large oil catch pan, plain water @ 6.0ph, rock wool plugs, air stone (DWC style)
I use the Big Bud and the Overdrive. They look and smell basically the same. The Big Bud seems like it might be a bit stronger... i dunno... so why would one work and not the other?

Ok so the Peters Citrus blend is a consumer product and they don't sell it in 25LB bags :( Just waiting to see what JR says for price on 150LB of Citrus in their biggest containers hopefully its inline with their commercial blends.

Why? I sell 4-6 skids of Pro Mix per week maybe a skid of Shunshine per 1-2 months.
Well you are in BC...here in Ontario it is up and down for quality imo. One bag okay the next too hot is what I find. I think it may vary across the country...I dunno on that...just guessing. I've heard other folks say that though as well.
Plus as in other info out there I say it fucks up in mid flowering. It's PH become acidic and it locks up plants. This is from my experience anyway. The sunshine mix makes all my strains happy and WAY better off in general.
I will never use it again.
What do you other guys/gals say on this theory ?

But my favorite is cig butts, cause it aint like tobacco to fuck things up. But i do like that it drys fast and consistently.
sorry fucked that up its in the post.
