That's what I wanted to hear is cal mag. I wasn't sure if it was good with soil. I have an extremely touchy strain so im scared to use anything! :o

I am using 707 organic Soil and I use cal mag once a week even if I dont need it.. just dont give it to ur plant 2 weeks before harvest. Also some silica will help. Same with the silica, dont give it two weeks before harvest.

looks like your geting good help here, I like to see it! here's my 2 cents
Adding Epsom salts (as a solution of 25 grams per liter or 4 oz per gal) or crushed dolomitic limestone to the soil can rectify magnesium deficiencies. For a more organic solution, applying home-made compost mulch can prevent leaching during excessive rainfall and provide plants with sufficient amounts of nutrients, including magnesium.

Touchy? Then don't add Si to the soil! Soil grows have Si in them naturally......Si is a powerful pH up...

Si is more for Hydro then soil.....Hydro nutes cannot have it in needed amounts in their mix. It would cause lock outs of the nutrient. That's why it's bottled alone....
The use of Si in soil can cause lock out's and pH problems.....If you do want to use it in soil...do so at 1/4 strength and add it to the water first and shake it up before adding your base nutrient.
