I have some outdoor plants fairly close by in about 10 gallon buckets. What would be some good nutrients to use?can i use advanced nutrients ''grow, micro, bloom' in soil? Anything better than that, any suggestions?

Do you mix according to the nute calculator on AN website, do you mix in less strength? What is your feeding schedule?
I usually just go by what the plants are asking for. Early stages I go 1/2- 3/4 strength. Mid Veg/Flower I always am up around full strength 1100-1300 ppm. I feed when pots dry out, but before they wilt. Usually every 3-4 days in between indoors. I usually get 2 feedings per week.

It says to mix equal parts of the grow, micro and bloom. Should i mix it with more nitro???? i mean, common sense tells me that, but the instructions tell me different, although im not growing in hydro, I'm growing in soil yuh know.

I used iguana juice before, omg does it stink lol.... Good stuff none the less, on ebay they seem to only have the big buckets of the HH which sucks!!! I'm gonna have to send them an email and find out why. Sometimes they will remove a product while they are improving it like they did with monkey juice a few years back. I was using coco and that was the nutes i loved for coco then it disappeared so in a state os distress i called and they it was removed but the new and improved would be out soon. Who knows though i surely hope they will come back out with HH like i said great stuff brother.

I've been considering trying this super soil out that subcool from TGA subcool seeds revised from another master grower. They call this the "just add water" method. Never have t ph, never ppm. You make the batch of soil and your good to go.

The Mix
[image|http://hightimes.com/userdata/22/images/22_8.7subcoolint_06.jpg]
Here are the amounts we’ve found will produce the best-tasting buds and strongest medicines:

  • 8 large bags of a high-quality organic potting soil with coco fiber and mycorrhizae (i.e., your base soil)
  • 25 to 50 lbs of organic worm castings
  • 5 lbs steamed bone meal
  • 5 lbs Bloom bat guano
  • 5 lbs blood meal
  • 3 lbs rock phosphate
  • ¾ cup Epson salts
  • ½ cup sweet lime (dolomite)
  • ½ cup azomite (trace elements)
  • 2 tbsp powdered humic acid
This is the same basic recipe I’ve been using for the past 15 years. The hardest ingredient to acquire are the worm castings (especially since many people don’t even know what they are. FYI: worm poop). But don’t decide to just skip them: Be resourceful. After all, worms comprise up to ¾ of the living organisms found underground, and they’re crucial to holding our planet together. Also, don’t waste money on a “soil conditioner” with worm castings; source out some local pure worm poop with no added mulch.

He also has his own forum in the organics section (yeah his own forum)

My advice ask him, i just found out myself HH isnt being produced nomore. Thats what i go for never realy cared to look for any other since ive always been a fan of Advanced nutrients. What ya got something ya like why go for anything else right? :) But really he will give ya the best advice or go for the super soil recipe. Just apply a little math skills and deduct if you dont want to make the whole batch try to cut it in half. Or look at the ingredients and google outdoor fertilizers and look for nutes with similar ingredients.

I thought about heavy harvest but it is a continuous feeder when used. You have to time the feedings. I like knowing I have control of what my plants get. I plant in the ground though.
Don't panic its organic!!
