What PH do you use in Hydro??

I know its a dumb question, probably asked a hundred times, but....

What is the best PH for ebb n Flo hydro??

I have been using 6.0, over 2 days six feedings the PH will drop.

I was taught a range from 5.7 low - 6.1 max.

Then I see 6.3 in a few articles around the net?

Then 5.8 in other articles, each article was very specific to be exact and they were both hydro articles not even hempy.
Full on hydro....
Im Confused?

on the other hand this is my plant at day 36 in flower and over 100 days old total!

i've always followed the 5.5-6.0 range in full-on hydro. but recently I read some article saying lower end is better (as low as 5.2 and never above 5.8!). I am not gunna change from my go-to range till I see more info or proof.

when i do add-backs or complete rez turnovers i set it to 5.6-5.8 and it will very slowly drift up towards 6.0 each time i check the ph ill send it back down.

your plant seems 100% at peace wiith what you are doing so I wouldn't change a thing! shes a beauty

The range for hydro is 5.6-6.1 and until you know how to read the plants and what they want more of just stick it at 5.8. Plants that are in veg or early flower like more of the nutrients available at the lower range, 5.6-5.8. Plants later in flower need more of what is available at 5.8-6.1.

I have 2 strains flowering now and the White Russian gets a tad cranky over 6.3 and the Critical likes it around 6.5. Well not sure it likes it lol but it hasn't died lol. Nutrient uptake seems to decrease if lower and leave tips curl if higher. Im just getting the hang of a few strains so by no means an expert grower. And yes i would stick to the normal 5.8 veg, 6.1 flower. There's a couple of good charts here that tell you what nutes r available at different levels.

I wouldn't worry too much as long as you're in that range. My girls seem to be happier if I let them alone.

I like 5.8. That way if she swings either way a couple points or the pens out out a bit its no biggie. A little room for error is always good with stoners
