what ppm should i be at?

i got some white widows that are about a month old from seed (not clones) and the ppm is currently at about 750ppm which i thought seems high for only being about a month old but they seem to be doing great no nute burn whats so ever. so is this about where my ppm should be should i go higher since they look good?

also can someone give me a guide to what ppm i should be at and at what stage. for example like what should my ppm be at in the next few weeks what should it be at when i start to flower etc.

forgot to add that i am using a aereponics set up using gen hydro flora grow, micro, bloom. and i just ordered some floralicious grow . and i will prob be using other additives specially when i get to the flower stage

thanks for the guide so do you think since im at 750 ppm and in the veg stage still i should not go any higher? or can i go higher since my plants seem to be thriving. for only a month old they look very good not to tall but very bushy and a nice solid green color to them.

There is no set rule as to what your ppm should be.Every strain will take different ppm's,and it will also depend on what nutes you are useing.
I have three different strains going at the moment,two of them are doing well with 850 ppm's while the other plant will burn if i give it the same nutes.
When my plants get their 3rd set of leaves,i start them at 300 ppm.Every water change i up the ppm's till i hit around 750 ppm's.When i start to flower i bump it up till i find the max the plants will take without burning.I have found that any strain i have grown will not take anymore than 1100 ppm's with the nutes i am using.
So my advice is start low and watch your plants for nute burn.Most people say flush and change water.I will flush the pots and add fresh water to my tank till the ppm's are at the level i want.I do not like dumping nutes down the drain when they cost so much,and pollute our drinking water.OPH

I'm not totally sure about that. I use organic nutrients and recycle the nutes by dumping them over banana plants, tomato/basil/garlic and other greenery throughout our property and it works out just fine. I spend a little bit of money extra on the nute solution which I empty out every 5 days or so, and save from having to buy 'outdoor' type granular organic fertilizers.

bro everyone got their different way of growing,im in the third week from seedling and ppm is 800.and yes it depends on the nutes and the strain also,but if you go under or over the TDS..you gonna be in trouble and the plants will let u know fast..hes a newb obviously.dude follow the chart and youll be fine.

I used to farm,so i know a little bit about fertilizers.Even organic ferts will run off and pollute the water.Plants can only use so much fert,any thing else is washed away by rain and ends up in our lakes and streams.Ever seen a stream with all of the green moss growing in it,that is from excess fertilizer.It sucks all of the oxygen out of the water and kills the fish.
I am not saying not use fertilizers,we just need to be smart in how much we use and how we dispose of it.OPH

It all depends on the grow room in a normal grow room it is normaly around 650/700ppm.but if you have a co2 tank then you can match your co2 output to the ppm and let the tempeture get alot higher than a simple grow area you can let the temp get up into the 100'''s.but if you are doing a simple grow the ppm that you have at present is fine keep it at around 700 all the way through the grow.

You are so right that it depends on the strain.My plants are all healthy and grow a inch or more a day.I would rather keep the nutes a little low so i do not spend all of my time flushing and waiting for my plants to recover from nute burn.
I have a TDS-3 meter that reads in ppms not EC,it also reads temp.OPH

and another thing,when you growing with all these HIGH OCTANE ppms,sometimes the plants tend to get choked like on their food and you get NUTELOCK!i know u know what that is.
So it really is better to keep ur ppm at a safe Lower- level,,but i like pushing it to the limits,HAHA .Peace..PuRp
