Pump size will depend on how much lift you need to get to your pots. Also in a DTW system if your running coco or coco/perlite mix you can use much smaller pots unless your planning on growing monsters. I use 3&3.5G and still have plenty or root space and it saves on using so much medium just some food for thought. Also as stated above are you planning on using drippers or making DIY drip rings? You may have to add a vavle near the pump to prevent too much pressure but I’m not a 100% on that. There is some good info in the world of hempy forum that shows some nice setups or checkout the bucket company for some ideas on best pump.

You need pressure more than Gallon Per Hour rating.
That will operate 16 emitters easily just make sure you are using drip emitters and not just open hoses/pipes. Floraflex bubblers work good or you can stab directly into Netafim line and run the emitters to each pot from a main line. Just remember, all hose runs from the bubbler/main line need to be the exact same length for equal water distribution as possible.
