What Purple could it be?

Hi All
A friend of mine wanted to start growing his own girls for the first time and bought some seeds from a reputable shop but he can't remember what shop he bought them from.
And worse than that he forgot what the name of the seeds he bought were called lol...
All he can remember is they were a Purple ? ( I forgot to mention that they are also Feminized Seeds)
I swapped a couple of my Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk seeds for a couple of his Purple ? and they look pretty nice at 5' 8 tall so far in my greenhouse. I'll add a pic in a mo.
Can anyone help with some possible names for this Purple? To see if i can jog his memory.
It wasn't Purple Haze as that was the first name i thought of plus i've grown that before and this Purple? has quite a strong skunk/earthy smell unlike the haze that i grew before.

I can tell by the bag of miracle grow compost hiding in the back... Not really. Just busting your balls. Antman is right. There's no way to know unless your buddy remembers. Treat that purple with respect

Do you have the slightest clue how many damn purple lines their are? I'm guessing it'd in the 100's just get him really baked go online and ask him which purple line he may recommend. But he probably just traded bag seed for your store bought seed. lol, I've never actually forgot what lines I've bought sure I will miss a few but I'll remember once I see the name but I've bought a lot of seeds.

I know there's quite a few purple strains but was hoping everyone might help me out with some names of the most common ones if possible?
Also my mate doesn't smoke weed and only bought these seeds coz he liked the colour of the bud and leaves when in flower. He just retired and is new to gardening since his wife died just before Christmas.
He still doesn't know if he's coming or going half of the time since losing his wife so i'm quite happy to cut him some slack.
He had 5 Free Feminized Cheese seeds in a proper printed pack but the Purple? just came in a small clear zip bag with a piece of paper saying what it was.
A gust of wind took the paper out of his hand when he was knocking at my door to give me some seeds
Living on top of a windy mountain can be a right pain in the arse sometimes

It's even more pointless to add to a thread without actually adding any information to that said thread which in some respect would make you a Troll with a comment like that.
But thank you for you opinion anyway.

I put the pictures up to show that it wasn't a pure Indica or sativa but was a cross of both to try and help narrow a name down if possible.
so far i have 2 names. purple haze and purple passion. Both are quite common names but wrong so far but then again they are both better than any name you have suggested so far...

At the end of the day my opening question was along the lines of can you offer some names of a Purple Strain? The rest of what i put up is all helpfull info to help narrow down a search.

If your hoping to jog the guys memory i would just open a website for one of the larger seedbanks like attitude search "purple" and just list em off to him and hope that he remembers. If for no other reason so that you will know what to reorder if you like or never again if you dont.

The clarity can be a great feeling when you know your correct but it's the memory of a goldfish straight after it that puts the.... sorry, what was i saying? or was i going somewhere to doooo???

I've been on the Oxy for 8 years now and since i started them i've Never seen a film all the way through
Thats one of the reasons why i started growing MJ.
It gives me a break from the Oxy for up to 4 months of the year to get my head straight and back to reality depending on the quality of my finished harvest
One day it will become legal here in the UK but... that One day is i'm afraid a LONG way off i think.

I have some possible good news though???
I spoke with him this morning and told him that I bought some Auto Grandaddy Purple Feminized Seeds this week and he seems to think that name rings a bell so my 6 foot 8 inch baby might be a Photoperiod GDP?
It's a case of Whatch This Space for an update.... Or a change of name lol...
