What ratio do you guys use of Sunshine 4 mix????

Got some ladys that are in looks like 85-90% sunshine #4 and wondering if anyone else does this.
They're root bound and I am going to repot tonight and try same style mix but... wondering pros and cons of this?

I'm a noob, using this @ 100%

The guy at the store didn't tell me to mix it with anything else and my plants are doing fine with it. He said the nutes were already mixed in for new starts. So I germinated my seeds, planted into this soil and they're doing fine.
Also:
I have two clones I replanted into this @ 100%. I think my buddy used Happy Frog or something, but he plants responded very well to the sunshine #4. They look great to me. I only mix Advanced's Micro/Grow/Bloom formula in when I water.

I use sunshine mix #4 mixed with 50% calcined clay (hydrotron) and amended with dolomite (1 tblspn per gallon) I get excellent results

A friend told me to mix happy frog and sunshine at a consistency that would clump loosly. I have always thought of sunshine as nutrientless and in the same sense as perlite coco fiber? I'm going with 100 % lets see what happens

I feel like it is almost borderline not soil (if that makes sense) because the substrate the plant is in is very almost inert?

it's not soil, it is peat (why it is called a soilless mix) and I use a nute designed for peat :) (has the stuff in it that is normally found in soil)

Just make sure you aren't using un-mineralized organic nutes and that you adjust pH to the same as hydro (5.5-6 versus the 6.5-6.8 for soil)

No explanation needed as this is not true, sunshine mix #4 is amended with dolomite lime to ensure proper ph ranges similar to soil

Sunshine Mix #4 / LA4



Mix #4 is recommended where high air capacity and fast drainage are needed: during winter months, with water and salt sensitive crops, or where frequent leaching is required.

Available in 110 cu ft; loosefill totes; 55 cu ft; 3.8 cu ft; 2.8 cu ft loosefill.



Ingredients

Formulated with Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, coarse perlite, starter nutrient charge (with Gypsum) and dolomitic limestone.

This mix is highly recommended for nursery stock, perennials, cutting propagation, hanging baskets and interior-scape.

I add more dolomite because I leech everytime I water and I PH my water to 5.8 to do this also because I add calcined clay
