Just wondering what kind of results people ha e got in a 5x5 tent with approx 600w of qb led lighting.
I've got 3 sf2000s to run in a 5x5 from what I have been reading it is not going to be enough light.

Your question is a very odd one, think about it (or perhaps slow down and think a little less for a minute).

Are your future currently-non-existent plants going to use/need every single square-inch of those 3,600-square inches, or maybe your going to allow for some airflow and workspace in this grow tent?

I think the sf2000s have a recommended grow/flower footprint that would assure you they can pull off some good grow within that 5x5.

Figuring out what light is best for a grow space based on watts-per-square is, again imho, to a degree endless in a 3D grow environment. It is a good industry ballpark and excellent on a 2D layout/plan (as I can say without giving your question more than 0.5 second of thought) any single 600W LED fixture will crush a 5x5 and you will never need nor want more (see: overkill).

But, I think you can start with what you got.

It’s all so situational.

I think there is a wealth of help and info here for you to have, but I’m going to suggest that you ask your question again. What the vision you’re seeing for your grow space? For your needs/desires/preferences? Are you going for 3,600 solid square inches of SOG? Are you going for mainlining 2, 4, 6, 9 plants for some monster sativa-dominant colas?

Somebody here will come along and say what/anything you want to hear, but at this point nobody knows if you really need a new 600W fixture or a couple 60W side-lights. Smoke a bowl, visualize your goal, and share with us your new questions please.

No I won't use every square inch I think I'll leave room in 2 corners, 1 for a Ped fan and another just for some working room.
I think I will just run 3 plants and try mainline/lst them, I think running a net will just get in my way in such a small space unfortunately.
I've ran 2 sf2000s in this tent before and I felt I needed more light most colas didn't form up well leaving gaps in between the individual bud sites, and while it felt solid it didn't have much weight to it.
So I've bought a 3rd sf2000 hoping it will help me out for another run.
So I was kinda curious as to what other people have done with aprox 600w of led in a 5x5

I am growing in a 4x4 with 600w of lights. I have 6 plants in 4.5 US gallon pots and I would be happy with 16oz. I am not sure what I will get as it is my first full run with these lights and pots. I like to run smaller plants with multiple strains. I could run less plants in bigger pots and let them veg for longer, but I guess the yield would be about the same. The most I have ever had out of this space was 19oz under 1KW (actual watts) of cheap Amazon COBs. The QBs I have now are far superior and my methods are far better than I was employing before.

I think in a 5x5 you will do quite well, you have enough light. The rest is down to you.
