Good grown, good genetics improper cured gives also shitty tasting weed. But if there is no good taste or smelling in the genetics, curing will not magically add flavor .
Glad to see someone else running a 400w + led setup. I'm running a 450w viparspectra ( 200w actual draw) with my 400hps and I just yielded my first plant and got 4.2 ozs dry off it! Couldn't believe the yield I got for using one of the weaker power hps. Supplementing with lower watt led definetly seems to make a big difference . The quality was superb on top of the awesome yield. I'm afraid to try changing things up although in considering running a 400 hps andMy. Side by side during winter time to help keep heat up in my tent during lights on. I've heard people have had good results that wayAs a side note, I am far from the best grower here. My lighting is too weak, but it is a vastly higher output than yours. I use a 400W high pressure sodium supplemented by 2 90W ufo leds. Each of those ufo led's are close to equivalent to your galaxy hydro because they are the real wattage and not the fake wattage that galaxy hydro reports. And the 400W high pressure sodium is 400W and hps is the gold standard of growing good bud. If I had a 600W hps I would get a lot more yield. But even with my lighting I get 4-6 oz's dried and cured from plants that are about 30-36 inches tall at finish. I turn them to 12/12 to flower when they are 4-5 weeks old and about 12-14 inches tall. When flowering the lights are kept about 6 inches from the tops of the plants.
So, after reading what all you guys said. I gathered this information. Well since no one directly answered my question. Idk if I just didn't ask it right. The question was basically, How do I save this plant. Gave a bit of a back story and didn't really get a direct answer.Glad to see someone else running a 400w + led setup. Thanks for the reply@oTwix asf ar as airy buds go your trying to light up too much plant/too much space with too little light. The LED you have is probably 135 real watts and the 3x 100w LEDs are not 100w LEDs.
For a 4x4 area with HPS you want 600w, with a really efficient LED you can do it with 400w ish. But with cheap LED you want at least as much if not more as HPS, so HPS would be a good choice on a budget comparative to those cheap LEDs.
