What should I tell the hydro store I'm growing?

My hydro store is run by an ex police officer. They just don't ask, we're their main customers anyway, not grandma. You can tell who are cannabis friendly by what products they sell.

That would be silly. Just because you shop at a grow store does not mean you grow weed. There are a lot of people who grow various things indoors, not just MJ and veggies. Peppers and Tomatoes need to be started indoors at least 8 weeks before going outside. Don't look and act like a stoner and all is good.

It will be ez to tell whos cannabis friendly by the type of nutes soil etc thats sold there...
If u cant tell u shouldn't be growing lol

My Hydro store specializes in growing mj but its never to be mentioned by name. Its understood what 90% of the people that go there are there for. You can talk about your "flowers", or you can talk about your "vegetation" and they know what you mean. One time when I mentioned my "colas" the guy said " Ok thats too much information" with a bit of a grin. But they are very serious about walking the fine line and the DONT want any talk of mj in the store. This outfit had a dozen or so stores from the northeast to the south.
I've noticed too on a number of occasions people park further away from the store and walk a distance to the store :)

if you wanna play low key most stores sale some kind of vegetable seed . By some sweet 100's or brandy wine tomatoes seeds from you hydro store and each time you go in point and talk about how great of seed they sale and how fast your tomatoes are growing .

I wouldn't shop at a hydro store that asked me what I was growing. I've always felt like I could get my point across by talking about my "plants" and "flowering" - without saying what the plants or flowers were.

Bwest naw its just extra precaution as the police station is about 3 minutes dowb the road and the hydro shop is in the under developed projects downtown. So I do it when I fo go just for safety my regerstrstion is to my house were I grow. I dont worry bout the store but thr constant police activity on the roads around it

lol...The rules are simple, dont be specifi & Dont go in wearing a cannabis shirt/hat etc . My local shop, all I see are mj growers. Who else buys 30 bags of aurora soil in the middle of October? You can BS me all you want, but that ain't for tomatoes...

Again, no specifics, no cannabis "advertising" and you should be good.

Yeah I dont own a truck either(i have a car and 2 suvs) so when I go for soil as above I take my buddys truck. The only reason I go to hydro store is for soil or a random flood table etc other then that my local gsrden store is way cheaper way better and alot more products. My hydro store sells the big name bottle nutes that I dont use. I grown organics and will never go bacl

Tomatoes from the grocery store are pure garbage most of the time. Some of you should actually try growing something other then MJ, lol.

Definately. They didn't need to add the difinitive leaves to their sign. Mine does something similar, but they can't be made out to be cannabis leaves like the sign above shows so descriptively. Thats highly stupid if you ask me, unless of course you are in a legal state. Even then it just doesnt need to be there. And furthermore, it just might chase other very legitimate customers off. There are lots of people that grow very delicate plants such as orchids and such. They might be put off by that.

I don't know if it's the same in the U.S but here in the UK the hydro shops sell stuff like bongs and king size rolling paper and even cannabis seeds lol. What i'm more concerned about when visiting those shops is being followed back by not just the police but little dicks who hope to be lead to a house with a grow in and take everything you've got and get nasty about things to get stuff out of you. I don't know if rippers are less common in the U.S but in the UK they're starting to become a big fucking problem.
