What should my yield be? 600 watt 4x4 Tent. Any estimates?

What should my goal be for yield with my set up?

600 Metal Halide for Veg./ 600 HPS for flower
4 1/2 x 4 1/2 ft. Tent
6" vortex Fan
80F 30% Day
60F 50% Night
2 gallon pots - 25 Plants (5 rows of 5)
MyGreenPlanet nutrients.
Strain - VISC Titanium

I have plenty of air flow and good water. Any guesses? What should my goal be? I flower around 12-18" to keep them small because there are so many but I think that is even too big I had lots of lower branches with no bud. I might flower at 6-12" this round.

i just did 18 plants in 2 gall grow bags. 600 watt in an almost 5 foot square tent.

without trying i got 17 OZ dry. there were a bunch of things i could have done to get a better yeild but i was looking for a mother plant and didn't care much about yeild.

i tie them down to keep things in line height wise. you'll be fine with them at 18". crowded? you bet your ass but definately workable.

i started with 45 seedlings in one gallon bags. i was amazed i could fit that many into a tent.

hey guys, got a couple of Qs for yas, before i ask i will let you now i have done an advanced seach for my answers but found nothing,1st up....
i got a 1.2x1.2x2.0m mylard, running 6oow diggy with al the bells and whistles so to speak, last grow i had 16 afies x big bud in 300mm pots,16 of them, claimed me 1.5 lbs from that grow which i was very pleased with, now i want to know is if i get me 36x 28pb(200mmx200mmx475mm) bags will i have another successful growth, or is that way to many.

2nd, what i want to put into this growth will be, ak47,jack herer,durban poison and arroura(think spelling may be incorrect for the last 1). 9 of each if my calcs are right..
should i only grow the indicas together or all together, growth rate a bitof a worry, forgot to mention that all my growths are done in dirt.
any help would be wicked+rep.

how did the 16 plants go, im planning to set up a perpetual grow with 16 flowering in each 1.2m tent.
you run seed or clone? and how long was the veg (and if it was clones including root time)
been trying to find someone who has done 16 for ages.
hope it went well.

that formula is useless, it isn't even taking into account any footage... or technique... Many growers beat the .5/g mark with experience, strain and technique.

i always do 16 or more under my 600. clones and seedlings. 2 or 3 gallon pots/bags. usually 1 month or 2 of veg depending on how soon i can clear out the flower room.

my last 3 grows i grew out 16 and 18 plants. i got 15 OZ, 16 OZ and 17 OZ dry weight. if i went to 3 gall pots and 18 plants i could pull more depending on which genetic i'm growing but 16 OZ 3 or 4 times a year is more than enough for me.

i'm really lazy and don't use CO2 or any bells and whistles. just great genetics, great ferts and light.

i always run 2 or more genetics. growing an indica and a sativa in the same tent is fine. you'll cut the indicas first and the sativas later. the only thing you have to do is be sure to stop feeding the indicas while continuing to feed the sativas.

i tie my plants down so i can keep my sativas reasonably short and have a more uniform height.

More plants does not mean more yield. Why so many plants? Or are these auto- if they are autos disregard my thoughts.

Why not use 6 plants and top them- LST them to make a canopy of growing tops to cover the entire area?

I'd rather tend and care for 6 plants in larger pots than 25 smaller pots.

i'm always on the hunt for mums. i have a few seeds to spare. lol

in addition, 17 years ago when i did my first indoor grow, i started with 8 plants in 5 gallon buckets (soil). as the years went by i found that i (not everybody but I) got more yeild from more plants.

i would rather do 16 because i can run 3 or 4 tents and harvest a pound every 4 weeks.
going to grow in hydro, take clones monthly, root for however long they take (ten days ish) and then veg for 2 and a half weeks.
then flower.
i hope they will be the right size by then for 1 per square m.
are they all your own seeds or did you buy some?

I just pulled 27oz from a 4 x 4 tent with a 600 HPS and a cheapie 300 LED using scrog with 3 different strains, 2 x Super Skunk, a Mango and Super Silver Haze. If I just grew one pheno of the SS or the SSH it would have been 2 pounds. A lot of scrog set ups I see here people flower them really short. I let mine run for a bit at least 50cm upward height in the branches/colas and this definitely made a difference as the taller plants yielded best. The SSH which was the tallest but far from the biggest colas gave me 2oz per sq foot which was highest per area
