If yiur talking off contract prices.. The newer moto g is pretty alright. Especially if its your burner ;) stay thuggin lol..
If its water proof, and I can throw it as hard as I can on the ground without breaking it , its OK with me..that's a must really...also gotta be android.

I'm still super happy with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 I paid $700 for two years ago when it was the hot new thing.

I'm certain you could get one free with a contract now, and it's still plenty fast, plenty big, useful enough to be my primary computing device and I've yet to find something it can't do that a newer phone can. Get a decent case for any phone.
