What Strain & Harvesting Technique To Avoid Anxiety Highs

About 20 years ago I developed something a High Times article I read 20 years ago called Reverse Tolerance.
I would smoke and get too high and suffer from high Anxiety and wish I could come down.
So I tried a suggestion from a friend and took only one toke and waited 30 minutes to see what happened and found I was effected as if I had smoked much more but not too much. This saved me tons of cash believe me.

But over the years it has came to cause anxiety no matter what so I stopped. As the years pass the worse it gets as I have experimented recently.

The above said, I still love the stuff even if I do not consume it and have grown two very nice 5 gallon bucket plants, one being an Indicas 4' 10" now and a Sativa 6'1" now. The Indicas is almost ready as I see that I need to put the loupe on it everyday. I have one or two browning pistils per bud.

I read of the methods for harvesting for cerebral or body effects and am wondering if anyone has opinions on when or how or which strain best to avoid anxiety?

I use pure sativas or sativa dominate weed to cure my anxiety. Sometimes I get so much anxiety with indica I can't go to sleep.
Sativas are anti depressants too.
Thanks!

When would you harvest the Sativa? Early with a few Trichs turning amber or later or????

I have always heard that pure indicas are best. When I smoke sativa, my heart races and i get anxiety, and also I have always read that clear cloudy trichs are cerebral and amber trichs is couchlock body high which is what you want for anxiety, less thinking, more stone.

another anxiety sufferer here, as far as which strain will help, that seems to be very much a case by case
but one thing that may help is the smoking part, or the lack of it
when you burn, you get a nice dose of carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide
this lowers your available oxygen, which raises your heart rate to compensate for the lower oxygen level
some notice this increased heart rate, and it triggers an anxiety cycle, which raises the heart rate further
it's not the whole story, but a vaporizer may be a good step in the right direction

Indicas like purple kush give me anxiety, the Chemo I have now gives a nice cerebral high, very enjoyable ..
Best highs I've had were Jack Herer, and C99. Clear and focused high.
