Hey codman, Its wise of you to start thinking about this stuff early. If you end up choosing a very popular strain, you may find yourself waiting for the seedbanks harvest. That is they are sold out at the time. It is best to order your seeds 6 to 8 weeks ahaed of time, if you order from an overseas seedbank. I have always recieved my seeds from these banks, but sometimes delivery is not so fast. This year i went with a new seedbank i found from BC Canada. bcseedking.com. I chose to go with Texada Timewarp. It is an early finish purple strain that is supposed to very potent and fruity/piney in taste. 15 seeds= 50 bucks cheap!!! Plus with every order, you get 10 more free. I chose bc mango for the free ones. Both these strains are pretty early finishers as expected harvest is mid to late sept. I dont think mime will be done till first week of Oct., but we'll see.
The seeds showed up 3 days after my order was confirmed, WOW.
Very good looking mature seeds
All germinated all survived until sexing.
This bank has white widow and purps also. I think I'm gonna go with those next year just for variety. In years past, i have grown really good blueberry, and papaya outside in minnesota, and had no trouble with finishing before frost.
Hpoe that helps.
