What the fuck happened to my plant?

First time grower here, I just went to check on my seedling I had planted about a week ago.
I approached my grow site, to find an empty bucket of dirt. I dug through it to try and find the seedling, but there was nothing.
I looked around for trail cameras, but found none.
The only think I could think of was a deer must have eaten it.

What the fuck man, that was my only plant.

On topic: Could it be cops, or just animals. We did have a really big storm last night.

Was it a seedling, or sprout? Seedling might not of sprouted. If it was a sprout bugs could of ate it.

It had already sprouted, but still had the seed on it's head like a helmet.
Fuckin' bugs.

If it rained it could be slugs, they ate 9 of my seedlings and I didn't know about them till I checked them one dark damp night

Or GOATS!!!!!!!! they usually wait till you're ready to harvest before they jack you though.

Haha .... came home one day and my 2 ft tall plant was gone! The only sign was dirt strung along the house and a few pieces of scattered rockwool and an empty pot. It was still in veg and my damn dog devoured it!

RULE OF THUMB. PUT YOUR PLANT INTO A 16 OZ CUP AND LET IT GROW FOR A WEEK, THEN MOVE IT TO YOUR PLACE IN THE FOREST!. This will make it harder for animals to eat it. ALSO!!!!! Some growers will plant some plants in one location, more in another location, and more in another location. Therefore people/cops might find one, animals and bugs will find another, leaving the next one sexy and ready to go. BTW I LEARNED THIS FROM THE HISTORY CHANNEL!!!! This is how it works in humbolt, but you are not there. So i would say if you planted 3 small gardens you will end up with 2 left and ready for harvest. Just my 2 sense. Also if you let a plant veg for a week and then plant it there will be a much better success rate. it would also be smart to dig out the area you are going to grow and fill it with new soil because i have heard surrounding plants will throw off the taste. I am not sure how true that is though so wait to see what be say.
