Can't speak for them but I'm almost 40.. Ain't a kid. Act like one. Still get ID from time to time too. But, tribe called quest, leaders of the new, blacksheep, etc. Now if I am listening to rap its bay area rap artist. But the old shit.

Atmosphere is cool. Pandora underground hip hop has good artist from time to time too

The other things I personally listen to right now are a lot of modern jazz and They Might Be Giants/Jonathan Coulton. My taste knows no boundaries. Bollywood/Tamil pop? Opera? You name it. There are two types of music. Good, and not as good. See sex and pizza for analogues.

I think the best in the game lately are Immortal Technique, La Coka Nostra and Madchild. The cool thing nowadays is most artists I listen to aren't competing with each other and are actually collaborating with each other. Makes for some sick fucking tunes.
