What the hell is corn?

I went to a friends house and he bought some stuff that was called "corn". He says its better than reg. Smells and looks the same to me lol. I haven't bought anything in a long time much be out of the loop. Is this just some sales gimmick? It cost more from what i hear. Also, he mentioned something about granddaddy corn being even more expensive than that?!?! But less than high quality..Sounds like bs to me...

can anyone fill me in on this.

lol maybe he meant "chron"? hahaha he probably only saw it in print. granddaddy corn is better? your friend is either an idiot or is trying to screw you. you should call him out and report back what he says.

REGGIE = dirt weed, nasty taste and smell,seedy and most of the time brick weed $30-50 oz
CORN = cone style buds, more fluffy, taste better than reg and is just better weed but still has seeds and smells like good kind bud skunky $80-100 oz
GRANDDADDY CORN = just really good corn usally the same price tho

corn is nothin more than reggie imo.. its a sells gimmick, to me its just uncompressed regs. down in texas we have alot of that trash so the shitty street dealers can make a buck

It's a name for homegrown side buds on the branches where I grew up. Short for popcorn bud. It's what a lot of people would call mids now. It can be pretty good smoke depending on the grower.

I totally agree. This stuff drives me crazy. I've never trusted anything any "vendor" has told me. Not once. Even if I knew for a fact the dude grew the shit. I didn't see the breeder packs. I didn't see the harvest.

It would have to be a decent friend of mind that I knew grew it themselves to believe what I was told.

simple way to put it
There are kinda 3 main grades of weed. Low,medium, and high. Shitty dirt weed is low, corn or popcorn is mid grade, and usually any hydro or any badass strain is high grade.
Theres been a few times where ive bought some shit that suppose to be corn but its not. Pretty ez to tell. I think corn is worth the money though if it really is corn, out here its like 2-5$ a gram. I cant stand nasty dirt weed.

What the fuck ever happened to just calling it weed or pot? Lots of cool new strains with catchy names that SUCK! This entire hobby/industry is so full of gimmicks, sure glad I am old enough to know to better...........

in hawai'i, we call the good shit corn. that's just a slang term for the good shit. but when we say corn, we say it with a silent "r".
