What the hell is going on

so if I don’t use the nutes at full strength which is too strong the ph perfect stuff doesn’t work?
I wouldn't put any faith in "pH perfect" nutrients. You still have to pH your feed every time. If your water isn't pH perfect as well, you're going to need to make adjustments. Just get in the habit of pH'ing your feed AND your plain water when you're just watering. You're going in blind on a really important factor, which is bound to cause problems.

the advanced nutrient thing says that you don’t add any ph down or up as it will mess with the formula they using to regulate the ph for you but next time I’m due to feed I’m gonna check it because I feel like I’m doin everything right and tbh when I’ve used other nutes that dont have “ph perfect” I’ve never had these problems, is it possible all the additives could be causing these problems too?

Is there any chance it’s because I’ve beeen reusing the same coco over and over this is the 4th run in it?

If you just check the pH of your feed you'll know if you have a problem and you'll know if the "pH perfect" is as perfect as it claims to be. Just check it bro.

I have to agree that you definitely want to check your pH. If that seems fine I would check your runoff ppm or EC after using straight water. There could be salt buildup from reusing your medium. When I was reusing coco I used hygrozyme and other similar products to flush out root particles and extra salts. Do you ever water with plain water? Maybe once a week. Another possibility is that it’s heat stress. You can get a laser thermometer from Harbor Freight for <$20. Check the leaf surface temp on the leaves near the light (non burned ones) it should be approx 75-80°+/-. This can happen with over or under watering too. Make sure you aren’t leaving them super dry for too long. Good luck. Happy farming!

You could definitely have some salt buildups/toxicity built up in the coco. You should be hitting with water once in a while to flush that shit out.

I'd think you need to back of with the ppm/ec and get your temperature down a few degrees, hot temperatures and dry humidity that come with them sap moisture from the plants driving up the ec.

Fwiw ime additives are more prone to causing problems than putting weight on the plants, I don't use any now but I've used my fair share over the years and I have still to notice any improvement with them imo they are bollox/snake oil call them what you want.
Best of luck!
I agree. For a new grower, less is more. The less crap you put in your soil and less nutrient bottles covered in cartoon characters you use the better. Get your temperature, humidity, lighting, air flow, pest control and watering/feeding practices down pat and you will grow NICE BUDS. Nutrients are not at the top of the list when it comes to the factors that will lead you to a great harvest. Again, pH everything synthetic that you spray on or water in your plants, and you'll have the peace of mind knowing that your girls are able to eat what you're feeding them.

I bet things are fine if you just use a and b. Another grower that got sucked in to thinking you need additives. Then buy more additives to fix the deficiency's the additives caused...

Why do growers feel the need to go for it? Just get the environment perfect, some a and b nutes, happy daze bongsmilie

Growing is so easy in coco with just a and b, maybe we get bored with textbook feeds, then add some shit to cause problems to give us something to do

I think people get sucked into feeling that the most expensive cartoon character nutrients will give them the dankest buds. Look at the ingredients guys, same shit different bottle much if the time.

Coco is a funny thing. I have grown plants that look great, then added some half strength pk9/18 and halved a and b nutes, then the next day they ain't great. Crusty fan leaves top of plant which yellow and go crusty. That was half strength too, so it was then I decided 'Fuck this shit!' I'm done with additives :D

I would use a root stim additive, but that's it. Bollocks to all the rest. I'm going use Canna coco a and b only. No added calmag or epsom salts. Plain water for the last week of flower for taste.

Next time use cal mag with your feed and ph it to around 5.5-6.2 if you can keep it around that reading you should be fine. I'm on my second plant and things are going great... use this graph if your using coco products

the bottle says it’s ph perfect.. but

you have to feed by the directions to get that result.
if you use less than directed the ph is not perfect..
And another thing you are overlooking is Advanced nutrients are formulated for Hydroponics. With that being said PH perfect will get you between a 5.8-6 ph. I wouldn’t want a 5.8 ph in my soil.
No matter what always check ph.
