Ok, listen.
I'm really sorry for this, but i cant fuckin take it anymore.
WHAT THE HELL is up with all of the god damn fighting in EVERY god damn thread?? I really cant take this shit anymore. Everybody is fucking arguing over who knows more about what, over whos the best, over whos fuckin dick is bigger. Im fucking sick of it. There's no reason for almost EVERY thread to go OT for at least a page or two, because two people cant agree over one hundredth of a point of what someone's pH should be in soil. It makes no fucking sense.
Stop the fucking fighting before somebody shuts RIU down, and we lose a fuckin WEALTH of knowledge. This place is a literal "Rosetta Stone" for growing pot. I know there are other places around where you can learn aswell, but this place is a library of knowledge from some of the best growers in the world. This place has taught some of the future generation of big time growers aswell. The amount of stuff you guys can learn from just checking the FAQs, and reading over some of the old grow journals in here is rediculous. You can search through SUBCOOL's posts and threads in here for christs sake. That fucking blew my mind when i first came to RIU. I couldnt believe that i was able to post and even socialize with some of the most famous and well respected growers and breeders on the planet, and have them talk to me like i was an equal. I couldnt get over that shit at all. But now it's different, and it's because alot of you newer people dont get the picture, and dont much care to either.
Alot of you think that you know more than most do, and run around giving unfounded advice to people, thinking that you know the answer to everything, but in reality your just spouting off because you got through a two plant grow and they lived through the whole thing, so you must know everything there is to know about keeping a plant healthy. You could have potentially just killed somebody elses garden because the advice sounded right in your head before you typed it out. If your going to give advice to people on here, DO RESEARCH before you do. Make sure you use the FAQs and the threads on here, and learn them, and know then intimately before you go around trying to help. Your intentions might be good guys, but your doing more harm than anything else.
Some of you guys out there who are newbies think that you can just come in here and start asking questions. Questions are awesome, there is nothing wrong with wanting to learn, but you guys have to realize that the people that read the General and Newbie growers portions of this forum, are reading around to see if they can be of assistance. They are doing this on their own time, and love to help people get it right. But, you have to understand that answering the same question 1,000 times gets really annoying. It's not that any of the older members are stuck up in ANY way. They have always been willing to help people who are trying in earnest to grow dope. Most of the older members are nice as hell, and are awesome when it comes to helping out. But taking advantage of the situation is getting old. People have SCREAMED for all newbies to try to check out the FAQs as much as possible, and read them over and try to find the answers theyre looking for, before starting a new thread and having to ask everybody the same question that was asked two hours ago.
By searching for the answer for yourself before you start a thread about it, you are preventing some asshole from having the oppurtunity to answer you with an attitude, and call you an idiot, which leads to fuckin 3 pages of back and forth bitch fighting about absolutely nothing. Its god damn retarded. But then the Domino effect would happen. You search for the simple answers, which prevents the assholes from crawling out of their hole when they see an oppurtunity to strike. This leads to only having intermediate questions being asked. The assholes dont have all of the answers to the intermediate questions, which leaves them without a device to call you a dickhead with. Which leads to all of the older members not being so tired of all the bullshit anymore, and will once again be happy to answer questions that any potential serious grower in training may have.
Im sorry if you guys think im referring to the Newies as assholes...Im 1000% positive that only a percentage of you guys are assholes, but this shit has only gotten REALLY bad in the last 3 months or so. I mean, there's always been a problem with trollers and in-fighting, but now i go and read the threads, and its almost every single thread i see fighting and dumb bullshit. It can all be prevented with just a couple simple gestures of effort. All i am really asking, is that if you guys want to use all of us for information, then please show us that you want to make the effort on your end to learn. That is all im asking. Do a LITTLE bit of reading, and the answers will come to you. Whatever isn't covered in the basics, im positive that you will catch somebody's interest when you ask a question that isnt asked every hour on the hour.
Think what you will about me... I could care less what most of you fuckin people think to be honest. I have respect for everybody in here that is serious about what they are trying to do. I dont care if you've been here for 3 years or 10 minutes. If you have the same goals as one another, then you are alright in my book. The rest of you people that are here because you think its cool to have a pot plant growing in your grandmas closet, or are trying to plant a seed in dogshit, or god knows what - good luck to you, but you aint getting a god damn thing from me. Toss off. If you wanna know something about growing, look in the FAQs if youve registered. Look in the fuckin Archives. READ for christs sake. It might turn you on to growing in a way you never thought of before.
-Just stop the god damn fighting. Stop the ignorance. Stop the fuckin bitchfits and bitch-assness. If you dont, this place might not be around for so much longer. Your turning something that was started out of a labor of love, in to something that the Mods and the Host come on daily, and dread what they might end up reading. They dont like having to kick people out. They dont like giving infractions. They just want the peace to be kept, and they want Civility within the ranks.

Sorry for the Novel. This is how i feel, and i believe truly that i am speaking on behalf of ALOT of the members of RollItUp. Please respect what you are a part of.
