what time should i keep my lights on my seedlings

i usually use hps lights and a 12/12 to start with now using floresent , should i still do 12/12 untill flower and then 16/8 ?

I do 24/7 until flower and then 12/12.

I am not sure you understand you do 12/12 to initiate flowering. During the veg the first part its 24/0 or 18/6 I hope you read up some more. There is alot of usefull knowledge on her red the faqs on the home page.

Others might do 18-6 . . . 20-4, etc.

They'll veg much better under cfl''s, most fluros, or mh.
