I don't have any vegetables planted yet, but definitely ghost peppers and heirloom brandywine tomatoes. I'll probably grow lettuce and several other kinds of peppers.

Start a large outdoor grow of veggies and lettuce and fruit and such. Never buy produce again with that dirt man.

I havent ever actually grown vegatables and whatnot but when i was a kid my dad did. Im not sure what foods are in season for growing right now but almost anything will grow in sourthern california. Cucumber, squash zuchinni lots of varieties of peppers garlic, looking long term: grapes, lemons, limes, oranges. strawberrys, tomatos of course, beets, carrots, radishes, im sure potatos would be fine in most environments. Just browse home depot for seeds or baby plants, or if your lucky and have a local nursurey (where i am we have one every 2 blocks, their built underneath the powerlines behind homes.)

1st of all, why are you yelling?
2nd of all, I don't think you're going to want to grow anything you may eat with MG soil...it makes things taste bad IMO.
3rdly, I'd try to return those 12 bags and get the $$$ back and invest in some better, organic soil like Root's or Happy Frog if you want to use the soil to harvest a crop of edible items...

Ocean forest is made with more ocean nutrients including kelp/fish meal, seabird guano, and fish emulsions where as happy frog is made with more land nutrients such as
feather meal, fish meal, bat guano, and humic acid, a naturally occurring organic material that is formed when organic matter decomposes. Also, I've read and heard that ocean forest can make your buds have a more seafood like smell/taste whereas Happy frog has Mycorrhizae and other beneficial bacteria

Its not like a 12 pack of beer.... you dont have to drink all 12 tonight. Save a few bags for your next grow. Next crop, next year, 2 years from now whatever. I am pretty sure there isnt exactly a shelf life to worry about.

My old grandad grew the most delicious tomatoes with MG - but he had never read it was rubbish, he just used it.
Granted, some people can figure out the perfect ratio of MG to get good product but it takes years of practice and adjusting nutrient amounts/watering

It's easier for beginners to start with something less complicated for good product. In that sense, I believe organic is the way to go because it's very difficult to nute burn your plants with organic nutrients and it can be very easy to make a supersoil where all you have to do is water with plain pH adjusted water
