What to do with male or hermie plants???

I have a few questions about male and hermie plants. About 10 days into flowering I noticed two plants had definite “balls” all around the calyx. I removed these plants immediately and destroyed them but I did save all the leaves and premature flowers.

1. Can I use the male plants for anything? Canna butter? They have been on 18/6 for 30 days and 12/12 for 10 days; will they have any THC in them yet? I have searched everywhere for an answer but have not found anything on when the plant starts to produce THC.

2. I know the pictures are not the best but can anyone tell if these are hermies or males? I’m not sure.

they contain thc but amazingly little thc, not sure if they would even have any in but apparently if you smoke male plants it just gives you headaches and the smallest buzz ever, but you should try it for yourself to see :P

Depends on species. Some ruderalis the male can have more thc then female. But the normal is males usually have little to no thc. It's like smoking stems from females. Sure there's a little THC in there, but not enough to make it worth smoking them. I think you'll find most males this way too. They're only good for making seed IMO.

Not even good enough for canna butter?

wouldn't hurt to try... my experiences:

first butter attempt: about 30g's of leaf and clippings from a prematurely harvested hermie, about 3-4 weeks into flower. cooked it with 3 sticks of butter overnight in the crock pot. came out great.

second attempt: roughly 40g's of leaf from a hermie and a male that were in veg. 4 sticks of butter cooked overnight. not bad, but weak. took at least 3 good sized cookies to feel anything worth while

so my advice would be to cook with a high ratio of leaf to butter.
