What to do with this Yieldmaster 16?

Hi guys,
I bought a used 'yieldmaster' 16 pod hydroponic system recently. It came in pieces and comprises of tubing, various joints,2 on/off valves, 16 x 20L buckets, 16 x 15L pots, 2 pumps (one for feed, one for drain), and an 84L reservoir. The instructions with it are very vague and I can't figure it out at all. It is supposed to work as a flood and drain, drip feed or direct feed system.

This is the only info I can find online about the yieldmaster.

The Rez is only 84L, how can this work when it takes around 12L of water to fill the buckets/pots when filled with hydroton? There are 16 Pods.

Would I be best off modifying this thing to work in some other way? Any Idea what would be best with the equipment I have?

Thanks

Is this system meant to be used in conjunction w/a controller bucket? Also, is it taking 12L of water to fill them , or nearly fill them? Remember, the top 1/3 of the media doesnt really need to be flooded. Perhaps lay your pieces out and take a picture? Us here luvs us some pics. Best of Luck to ya!

I don't know if this makes any sense:

-Ok how far have you got

-First off is the pipe work all in the right places, the drain pipes should be all in 1 peice.
-If ya start at the reservoir (left hole) It should go all around the buckets and into the right hand rez hole
-I think it probably is in the right place but its a good place to start

-Flood and drain
-Ok ,when you charge the system do it the way i told you in the shout box, for thurther reference ill add it here

-Turn off both reservoir isolators
-Fill up the res with Ph adjusted water nutes
-Switch on the feed pump and flood the system remove the caps from the emmiters or you will be there all day, this is also a good way of checking if theres any ---
-blockages in -the feed pipes later on in the grow .also a good idea here is too time how long it takes to empty

-When the res has emptied fill it up again with nutes and ph water, but this time when you switch on the pump you can open both valves which will allow the rez to -
-empty ----quicker .
-When the rez is emptied remember to close both valves

-Check the level of the water , put a pot in each of the 4 corners of the system. the water level should be roughly the same in each bucket and should be about 1 inch -below --the pot .

-Close the valves. and fill the reservoir 1 last time
-Ok your ready to rock and roll. Switch on the feed pump and give those tomatoes a good feed dont forget to set timer

-When the buckets have flooded thats when you should switch on the drain pump .
-You can play around with the timings to suit your plants and the different stages of growth[END]
