What to grow????

ok im going to grow two strains, one mainly indica, the other mainly sativa. whats your favourite strains????

i love anything kush on the indica side, nothing beats that kush flavor, and on the sativa side i would go with some TGA seeds, subs got some tasty lookin sativa strains, im working with pandora's box and mk-ultra right now

Dr Greenthumb has some great strains, you could grow his stuff your whole life and be happy. Endless Sky has a 6 week pheno, very potent stone, great yield. C99, Chemdog, OG Kush, Original Cheese, Bubba Kush. Expensive but a fantastic breeder.

DNA has some fantastic strains. Chocolope is reported as "the one", many people's favorite. Kushberry is said to be very potent. (I've got both seeds on order)

i just finished greenthumbs ozone (chemo x og kush) and it is off the wall potent with a very good yield. i'm with hobbes, greenthumb prices are a tad higher than most but the genetics never disappoint

@OGMan and hobbes, i dont see any prices for dr greenthumb plus ive never heard of most of the strains :s is ozone sativa or indica dominant???, cheese and AK47 keep calling my name, i always thought cheese was indica dominant ut dr greenthumb says otherwise. theres just so much choice that Kushberry looks lovely too. anyone had any experience with Lowriders??? sorry im just changing my mind every 10 minutes

i mean i want a strain that will get me trashed, have BIG yield, and taste beautiful i just dont know, i mean do i go with the classics AK47, cheese etc or try somethin new

TGA's Jillybean is nice, I got the Candy Store pheno - exactly like dreamcicles, fills the whole grow room every time the plant is brushed. Very good producer, 9-10 weeks. Just a nice happy stone, we found it a bit sedative.

Chocolope - DNA Genetics: Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze. 4 time cup winner.

Look: Just look at the photo on your screen. It's disgusting: These pieces are so incredibly dense, you'd better get the heavy tools out. Like little rocks, they are hard to break up; once you get them into a grinder you are going to have some serious workouts on the wrists. You don’t even have to look closely to see zillions of tiny little crystals that cover every millimetre of the surface as well as deeper below. The red coli are small and wiry and tend to fall out all over the inside of the bag. There are variegated, darker leaves with lighter yellow parts found too. Break one of these “golden nugs” open and be drop-jawed by it’s yellow centre. When do you find big sticks and fan leaves in a Grey Area bag??? Not likely. This weed is completely manicured to the bone. This stuff makes you truly appreciate the open market here in Amsterdam; this weed is "clean"!

Smell: It smells minty with a bit of "sugar-sweet" somewhere in there. There are hints of a cleaning product like a PineSol or something eucalyptus and pine tree scented. As you grind it up and stick your nose in it, you get a soft "richness" of berries, soil and leaves. This "earthy" scent has a cocoa influence and that's how you can see the name was proper.

Taste: The flav is certainly a bit medicinal, like sucking on a child’s medicine throat lozenge which is really strong and icky and therefore covered up with a sweet artificial flavour. True "canna-seurs" will not be deterred by this description but rather excited!!!

Effects: This gear hits you immediately behind the eyes! Light headed, you feel as if you are tipping forward ever so slightly, but your head is as level as can be. Now that is strange. You KNOW you are off your head when the room feels like it is buzzing around you like virtual reality. These hyper-FX cause your eyes to squint a little bit almost like you are looking into the sun…But it’s NIGHT!

Overall: Last year, the MMG from Grey Area and DNA Genetics was one of the hottest buds in town, regardless of their actual finish in the Cup. This year, I really see Chocolope making a similar impact. It has to be one of my top 3 favourite buds this November. This is because the flavour is so strong, it makes my mouth water. This year I have smoked few weeds that have this flav and effect combo... simply uhhnnnnn niceeeeeeee!

Chocolope by DNA is suppose to flower in 8 weeks.

Smell: It actually smells like chocolate. A mix of a Hershey Bar with hints of Haze.

Taste: Smooth chocolate fruit taste.

Buzz Type: Energetic high with a calm stony feeling.

Buzz Length: Long. We smoked this Chocolope in a nice RooR ala Michael Phelps.

Overall: Unbelievable strain overall. This has finished second in the last 2 Cannabis Cups for a reason. Chocolope gave us serious munchies that we had to satisfy at a banging Chinese restaurant. –Meangreenmartian

I would have given it a 4.5 or higher had the indica buzz lasted longer and the potency of this medication was higher. Still a high quality buy, would smoke again.

to be honest i dont like the idea of chocolate flavour weed :/ was sooo close to going for black domina but i need feminised seeds and i cant get black domina fems......read some good things about a seedbank called elite but cant find the site, u guys got links for the seedbanks u use??? thanks for all the ones u posted already

kushberry is callingf me tho.......but also i want a sativa to smoke(preferably not too tall) in the day "jack the ripper" looks great but once again no fem seeds

Cinderella (C99)

The C99 has been hailed as the Holy Grail by Bros Grimm and is an extremely productive, potent plant and very stable. Growers often note pre flowers between the age of 4 and 6 weeks. Node 6 is commonly where they start, The scent is very sweet and fruity. It won't "fool" anyone who's familiar with MJ, but the average person might not recognize the scent as pot. They start to smell after 3 weeks of 12/12 and they're harvested 4 weeks later, so the SHORT flowering cycle helps a bit by lessening the amount of time your garden "stinks". The plants that show first are usually males.

Yields are highly dependant on the methods used. Pruning style and number of plants/area make a BIG difference. Professional growers are often yielding around 2lbs/kW. The scent given off by Cinderella is NOT the typical "pot stench"...not at all skunky -she's sweet and fruity. Someone passing by the flowering room might not recognize the scent as pot and mistake it for tropical flowers. When you rub the resin you can definitely smell it.

C-99 is more psychedelic be sure to smoke a little wait a few minutes, then think about whether or not you need any more...it's easy to over-indulge and become paranoid.

Flower: 6-7 weeks

This plant was built for SCROG'n or otherwise training. It can be topped, I just train. Vegetation time is varied to your screen control. 2 weeks or less is my approach at this time. Branching on clones is very dense, which later equates into more budsites. Going from seed is as squirrely as ever, and when males are present, they seem to have a large amount of normal skunk stink. Females however seem to be more fruity than skunky and might easily be masked behind vanilla or other tropical smells.

Once on a 12/12 cycle they should be trained for 12 days longer, on the 27th day or so they stop their growth for full fledged flowering. Flowering is predictable and easily repeatable in an indoor environment in around 50 days +/- .. Keeping an eye on trich coloration always gives exact for you.

Experience:

All I can say is... Whoa. Do not underestimate Cindy or you will be pushin up the pillows. Cindy is a remarkable cerebral high that will let your body move and work until it just gives out. Cindy can and will make you pass out if you do not handle her with care. In food the experience can be from a remarkable silly drunken-ness to some very very lucid visualizations. For pain relief, eaten products are amazing at numbing tooth pain to broken extremities. I am in love with Cindy, she will always have a place in my jars.

Note: from what I understand of Cindy, she is fairly stable genetically, meaning you should achieve a good potency out of any seed. However, each seeds potency or effect does range a bit and growing a few mums out till you find one that you like above or beyond another might be worth your while. I feel I have some devastating plants, YMMV.

Type: Sativa

Price: $75/Quarter

Looks: Fluffy buds. They were perfect for breaking up. Not too dry but not too sticky either. The crystals on it just fell off to the touch and the red hairs were a lot longer and brighter than most other strains.

Smell: Extremely fruity. The smell was pretty overwhelming in enclosed areas without even lighting it.

Taste: Tastes how it smells. Almost like a pineapple fruity taste. Sometimes I have even tasted a bit of skunk and a bit of haze to it. Nothing like anything I have ever had.

Buzz Type: Straight to the brain. Huge head buzz and a lot more energy. I never get tired after smoking C99. 3 or 4 hits is all that is needed to feel amazing.

Buzz Length: Medium. About 2 hours after smoking the buzz starts to come down but the high lasts for about 3 hours total.

Overall: My favorite strain of all time. I was completely satisfied in all aspects. The first joint only got about 3 hits out of it before I had to put it out. It was a straight head buzz and complete stoned feeling, but I had so much energy at the same time. The taste lasts in your mouth for a while after. I cannot smoke this stuff before bed or I will be up for another few hours. Great for a wake-n-bake. I am usually a munchie king but C99 does not make me hungry either. The most perfect plant I have ever come across.

Strain Name: Cinderella 99 (C99)

Type: Hybrid – Sativa Dominant

Looks: Light green with dark orange / red hairs. Lots of crystals cover each part of the dense bud.

Smell: Does not have a real strong smell until it’s broken up. Smells like a watermelon or that mystery white flavor airhead candy when it’s broken up.

Taste: Piney with hints of chemically engineered fruit flavor, similar to the candy airhead’s smell. Skunky overtones with slight hints of burnt campfire leaves taste on exhale. Had a different kind of a piney taste, tasted the way the fake christmas tree’s in the 80’s smelled.

Effects: Day time use! Provided an energetic, clear head type of medicinal effect. Also enhanced my mood and produced anti-anxiety feelings. Standard sativa medicinal effects.

Potency: Medium

I prefer to go with an indica. I do not have a giant area so i am limited some. I really like the Barney's Farm LSD. Looks great, and can grow almost anywhere. I also really liked Sannie's New Blue Diesel.

looks like it may well be Kushberry and C99, whats the yield like on kushberry and C99 (per plant) i did Lsd last time unfortunately they died. i think i overwatered them
