i had a good time, a lot of good speakers. there were some guys there speaking about probiotic ancestral growing which is very interesting shit. I plan on trying it next season, its this stuff called Grow Kashi.
a bunch of booths with stuff that there trying to sell. And a lot of dabs and light dep buds going around.
great event for the first one. went all day into the night.

The satellite trimmer looks pretty legit and the review says it beats the nugs up less then the tumble style.
And it has a 3 bag collection for trim that seperates it. I haven't used it but that's what a dude over at the mag claims

the tumbler does not beat the buds up. Its put threw wet basically still alive. if it was dry when processing then yes it would beat the buds up. but not when its wet.

It will be beat to death if you tried either machine with dry. The threads at the mag show pics of how many trichomes are lost through the tumbler machine. They say the hardest thing to do is keep enough material to keep the machine running steady. The benefit I saw of using the satellite was it runs on 110 and is quieter then the tumbler machines. Both run about the same amount of material. Check out the threads at the mag they are pretty informative on both styles of machines.

Yeah wet. It shows a hand trimmed and a tumbled nug next to each other. I think it shows macro shots of the trichomes being cut in 1/2.

there full of shit. you don't lose trichomes when the wind blows. you run it still alive, trichomes don't fall off.

we did side by tests at the dispensary under a 300X medical microscope on a 40 inch display and the hand trimmed was more mashed, bruised, smashed and costly then the machine.

There no loss of TCH with machines at all as its handled much less.

well when I say no loss, the drum and blower is caked with hash and cooking oil sure.
But the hand trim trays (trim bin) is also loaded with kief.

I just meant it wont obliterate the THC sure lots knock off but hay its still there!

if any one wants to bug me I can go take some microscope photos.

Also I got the Twister T1 and its light years better then the samurai. Id say 4X faster and we hardly take any leaf off other then big leaf.

We stuff football amounts into the Twister T1 and it comes out id say 90% 95% done. When ran slower or super tight nugs its store ready other then crows feet.
