what type and size of lights would you use for this grow box?

Hello, I was wondering what type of light and what size would you use for a grow box that is 30inches deep x 31 inches wide x34 inches tall?

250 watt metal halide or HPS?? should really show excellent results. or go with 400 watt if u plan to upgrade to something bigger in the future.

I was thinking either a 250 watt hps or 400 watt and the 400 isnt that much more $, but the heat given off by a 400 might be to much. With a well cirulated cab and cool tube how close could i put the light to the plants?
