I check my ph 3 times a day,
in the morning, after work, and before bed. stays at a constant 5.8 if not, i always tend to it immediately

What I cannot understand is, why is this only affecting the older fan leaves?
As u can see, the ak has 3 main branches with new growth , this is only happening to the main branch fan leaves and older leaves from the other 2 branches///
I really dont get it. im pulling my ballls out..lol

Thought I'd ask as well...
Which side is the dominant on this strain?? might I have a indica pheno?
I know there are two types of AK pheno.
The Indica, and the sativa, i dunno which one is this, looks like a more indica dominant.

Nutrient problems almost always show on older growth first don't think about it too much remember keep it simple. I really think that if you put in some HID lighting or a bunch more flouros your plant will perk right up. AK is just one of those sensitive strains that really does not agree with less than optimum conditions. Your plant looks generally healthy so I would not worry too much. I helped with a 10k grow of AK, we used flood tables and adjusting to the proper nutrient level was a pain with the AK we ended up burning a lot of the older growth but once we lowered the nutrients significantly they perked right up and we got a very decent yield. The AK also seemed to prefer a weekly flush of the rockwool when the white widow could go for a couple weeks. If you want a high quality low maintenance plant try Northern Lights it is really a great all around plant and because of its older genetics often overlooked.

Funny thing is, I have a 600 watt MH conversion bulb. Im just scared of using it for those small plants and all, then i would have to up my ppm no?
I guess i should start vegging with the mh eh?
and as for weekly flush... r u serious??? damn, what a pain in the ass.. lol
so if i lower my nutes to say 300 ppm, how would it affect the other plants>??

What are you afraid of? Dank bud? Decent yield? Put that light of them right now and I guarantee in a few days you will know why people use HID's to grow weed. The weekly flush was for a flood table the plants were growing in rockwool so the rockwool would get some salt build up that the Ak was sensitive to.

Not a good idea at all to wash your Hydroton with Dish Soap. Ay least in my Opinion. Dish soap loves to find little cracks and voids and hide out until later. But this late in your grow I highly doubt this is your trouble.
You did ask about r/o water or tap water. Most tap water is ok if you let it sit in an open containerfor 24-48 hours.
I say most tap water. Because some cities tap water is actually not even fit for humans to drink. Like a small town call Jackpot Nevada, which the water there has Radioactive icotopes in it, or how ever that is spelled. It is the only water they have, so they live with it.. WOW. Talk about hard up. They do use bottled water for drinking water and such, but I would not try to grow my weed plants in the shit. Hell I would not shower in that water
