what type of lights

hey whats up everyone. well i need a little help i plan to grow about 8 plants in my garage but im confuse on what type of lights to get. i seem to get ifferent answers all the time. if any one has any suggestions about what type of lights to get, a web site where i can purchase one, an how many watts shoul they be any reply woul be greatley appreciate.

best lights are HID lights - HPS (High pressure sodium) & MH (Metal halide)

MH light are best for veg stage, HPS for flowering.
You will need at least 1 600 watt balast that will power both bulbs.
You can buy MH bulbs that will work on a HPS balast, make sure it has an E40 fitting.

There are many online hydro stores that will sell what you need, I have used ebay in the past and have found bargains.
You will also need a reflector and some good venting with fans.
