what type of soil do you use? why do you use it? and wats your water schedule?

Man, some people should just not post, all you do is cause more forum myths with B.s statements like this.

I do a 50/50 mix of Fox Farms Ocean forest, and Fox farms Happy frog, in 7 gal air pots. Because of the pots and light soil mix I water roughly every 2-3 days, using a water, water, feed schedule. I have had gnat problems in the past with FFOF and I will use a spinosad drench a couple weeks into veg. ANd as numerous people have said DON't follow a watering schedule. Your girls will drink at different rates at different times. Just lift the pot if its light stick your finger in the dirt, if it is dry water..... Your plants have NO idea what a calendar is, why follow a regimented schedule.

Last grow I used FFOF on some plants and Happy Frog on others. With the FFOF I could not add any veg nutes without resulting in burnt tips, I even did 1 ml per gallon and got burn. This grow I am using Happy Frog in 3 gallon cloth pots. Watering every other day and feeding nutes.

I used subcools supersoil recipe with aerated teas and had great results in the terms of quality. Promix with 25% extra perlite plus gh nutes has gotten me the best quantity though.

I wish Sub would market the stuff prepackaged in quantities a little more managable
