What up from the Pacific Northwest..

I'm Tomoyo..but most call me tomo for short. I'm 22 years old. Recently have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease last December a month's time I am now a medical marijuana recipient!

I never thought I'd ever smoke pot let alone find use of it's valuable medical properties and anti-inflammatory abilities would help my crohn's. It's a much better alternative to many opiates and pain killers I was once given..when I can use this plant as my escape.

Since using it, I've felt like it has given me my life back. Although, I am not a grower. I am totally still new to this clueless and I know it's VERY expensive with the lighting and equipment to use. So for now I just slide on by local dispensaries and growers and check what they got and learn a thing or two as I become part of this "movement" or community, if you will.

the Wenatchee Valley. I'm not from here though..I'm from Tacoma..moved here after I lost my job.

Can you grow outside? It is possible to grow great weed very inexpensively outside if you can make your own compost, seaweed teas, garlic and chilli insect repellants etc?

I used to work for the City of Tacoma but after budget cuts I got let go and moved here to the wenatchee valley. I know the weather fairs here much better than over there. Also I think the conditions when spring and summer come around for the good weather would be perfectly ideal to grow. I'll soon look into growing eventually. Yes, my crohn's is in check for now, but I gotta watch what I eat or as my dad would say "you'll get stopped up" lol.

welcome to the forums, you can find alot of good shit here! You may also want to check out THClist.com for local people around you. It is a Wa state place for MMJ, stay safe and legal! You can also designate someone as your provider as a grower and get them to grow for you and they will just give you meds! Cus any grower that is in Wa that can grow up to 15 plants will be able to grow 30 with your designation so they can grow way more plants and make way more money so giving you an oz a month or so is totaly worth it to them!

I was bed ridden in the hospital for the past month and I just got out Monday. I'm looking at a huge hospital bill, but the collections manager at the hospital said she knows how shitty it is to be unemployed and have NO insurance and she knows how shitty things are for me right now. So she said she is forigiving the total amount of my bill due. It really made me cry I didnt think there was anyone out there who cared enough.. It's like after I lost my job things went for the worst and then I get diagnosed with this debilitating Crohn's and it just seems shit went down hill. I think If I didnt have a little bit of weed to smoke I'd go insane. I'm sick and tired of the crying, and problems of my health.. =(
