What Watt HPS should i use?

Hello i recently just finished my first grow using cfls and i thouhgt it was maybe time to step it up.

At my friends house' is a clost growbox setup about 5fth x 2'6''w x 3'6l so space is limited . there's room for about 3 depending on the size of the plants. Well anyways i was curious to know was size hps would be need in that small of space. I had in mind maybe a 100w but i am also concerned how much heat thats going to create.

Rule of thumb = 50 watts per square feet of floor space for good results. You have 8.75 sq ft of floor space, so that means you'll want a 430 HPS ... providing you can put up with the heat.

Yep 400 watt HPS should do just perfectly

Does anyone have any heat issues with that size HPS in a small space. There is one small muffin fan for ventilation in the growbox and also a/c running throuhg the house which keeps the box around a 77-80f.
