Yo guys, im gona get a CFL 2moro as my 600 hps killed my seedlings earlier and im fed up with cutting corners, so im gona have 6 seeds in rockwool cubes under a 125 CFL...is this any good? Or should I go higher/lower wattage??

im usin 3 26 watt cfls for over 30 seedlings soo a 125w cfl should work ... but id definitely get a reflector or hood.. i just use aluminum mixing bowls 4 my cfls and they work great

agree: the 125 watts is good for babies. it is Real watts and not those fake " like " watts they have on packaging? They usually jump from 100 to 150 " like " watts though so your probably using acurate wattage :+) cfl's need to be close to the plant, i leave mine like 1 to 2 inches above plants. Lots of ppl coming off of HPS are used to great spaces because of heat. Good Luck and sorry for your lose :*( ( the killed babies )

I would use wye splitters to give one for each plant. Is the 125 the final or that what it is "equal" to.

switch, I think it's a good idea to get that 125W bulb, it'll work great for the first weeks of those seedlings
