What Wattage of hps/mh Lights To Get

The 400w I posted before that is, I know.... Does not dim though. I don't know if there are any 400w units that do.

i dont think it was garbage. it's just that i want to use the lights every day, 365 days a year. so i really need top shelf supplies. hey, if there was a warranty on the stuff i would probably buy it, but i would want back up lights just in case something goes wrong.

edit: dimmable is a nice thing to have also. my ballasts are all dimmable.

Have you noticed shorter life of the bulbs on the dimmable units?

nope, not yet. just got the dimmables bout a month ago. i think i read just having digital ballasts extends bulb life a little though so we'll see.

thx not looking to use light 24/7 365 just wanna do a couple plants as a hobby
