What will cbd in trichomes of a growing plant degrade into? Will it degrade at al?

When growing regular THC dominant strains the trichomes amber when they mature because the THC is broken down into CBN from light and air but does CBD dominant strains "mature" i.e degrade/break down in to some other substance like CBN, D8, CBC etc or does it just remain as CBD in the trichomes untill the CBD is degraded in the way of half-life depletion (going old or stale)?
