What would be a better soil for an Auto?

Fox Farm Ocean Forest or Fox Farm Happy Frog? I heard Autos don't like nutes (or as much) so I'm leaning more toward the Happy Frog. Any input?

Thanks!
Ive been using happy frog for years and have been very happy with the results. A few strains have found it hot but overall it's been great.
I usually cut in appx 25-30% canna coco, although lately I've only been doing it for the top 3rd of the pot.

Never tried ocean forest, but I'm sure someone here has experience with it!

Happy growing!!

as the autos are in for such a short time 60 days average

I advise to shoot for the FFOF along with 25% perlite

little feeding is required ..if any

and FFOF with added perlite does you well for a 2nd grow

with little amending

10 liters or 2.5 usg is all required

that works out to be about 1 litre per week or 1.5 pints of soil at most

good luck

auto plants are feed bases plants best results off strait out of the bag soil
ideal 420(they are out of biz)
roots organic green field

I've grown plenty of autos in Ffof, it won't take your plant to harvest. It will feed it pretty well up until flower, after that your are going to have to fertilize.

Appreciate all the input guys! I did pick up some perlite so I will be adding in that as well. I also have the Fox Farm Nute trio. Ill probably start at 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dose just to be safe.

Thanks again!

wait
the trio is only part of a system .......if u get that things can come up and u will not have what u need on hand

the fox farms system
https://www.amazon.com/FoxFarm-Dirty-Dozen-Starter-Kit/dp/B00KC8HWTM

this is the full kit everything u need to fallow the plan ....it can do a few plants for u
(this is mostly a chemical based feed system so u do need to flush the plant plan for this )

I am on first grow with northern light..I use organic soil from Kind Soil..no nutes..just water..fantastic results and so easy..A little pricey but good service and results
I have some of the kind soil myself, nervous about using it on an auto. Thinking about using on some amnesia kush (photo) because it requires heavy feeding. Do you have any pics of your auto?.

If I don't fly imma die anyway

So you are doing full organics, do you have any ph issues. Also will you be able to reuse the soil again on next grow with amendments?

I am on well water which is very hard water and ph is way high..I use earth juice brand to bring it down to 6-7..I also use the cloth pots and water till I see a little water starting to come out the bottom..don't expect huge yields from autos..I ended up with a little over 3 oz from 2 plants but the potency was excellent ..it was dried for a full week before curing..I've never enjoyed weed so smooth ..no hacking and coughing. .

Forgot to mention. .they don't recommend reusing soil..I'm sure they want to sell you more. .but if you amend the soil with nutes you are not organic .

I was talking about organic amendments like blood meal, crab shells and things on that line. I have the soil, just contemplating if I want to get more or just go with happy frog and add top dressing if needed. Only want to do organic on my next four runs. Need to decide real soon. Have a few autos and need to get them done before I get started on my photo plants.

I'm no soil expert but I think if you are in a hurry it may not work as it takes time to break down ingredients for plants to use..try it...they will probably do fine
