What would be a good light for clones at 12/12 from the start?

I was thinking of growing some well rooted clones 12/12 from the start. I will be growing in a 36x20x60 tent. I was just curious on what your thoughts would be on which light to use. I am thinking of 4 to 8 clones in 2ltr bottles hempy style. It will be a small grow. So I seen a T5, I seen a 250 watt and 400 watt hps. Which be better for my grow?

well from what i know T5's are used for seedlings/vegging clones but im not too sure about flowering if i were you id go with the 400 watt hps.

Definately the 250 or 400. You are right in the middle. In other words a 250 is good for 5 sq ft and 400 is good for 8 sq ft. So, play it safe and go w the 400. Do not flower w flourscent! Good luck.

Clones and seedlings do best under cfl or t5 if using hid leave plenty of space between light and canopy.

your tent only 5ft high, if you need the tent to be closed all the time
you will need a good extractor at least 6inch inline with a cool tube
or your plants might cook even with a 250w hps

if you are ok with leaving the tent open it will not be such an issue
without good air movement/extraction a little tent will go above 90f in now time
when using hids
