what would you do if you were in my shoes?

Hey guys, its me again

im having an issue at the moment. basically my plants are still in Veg, which is a good thing and all, the tallest is about 13 inches in height. i think if they grew any more in Veg, when they flowered they would be too big for my cubboard.

So the first thing you would say is FLOWER NOW!!! no? i bet you would

the issue is that i dont have any odor control devices at the moment and i must go away for 8 days (was on short notice).

I ordered a ioniser and air purifier but i havent been too lucky in the mail lately....

As from now, what should i do?

hehe no comon really, im in a tight situation here.

There is no problem to water the plants, i have that sorted out.

is more of the choice to flower now, or wait till the odor controll stuff gets here, cause i cant have the plant grow any more in veg...

the thing is im undecided as im still new to growing i was hoping the experts (you) could come up wih some ideas

mmm ok, but how long before it will stink this place up? my nieghbors which live downstairs MUST NOT smell it..

Sometimes they dont smell that bad .. You do know that plants triple in size while in flowering

thank god i had calculated that already... lol, i will have to get rid of the shelves and put my clothing in the living room... hopefully the purifier will get here soon, say, you wouldnt be able to tell me if this one will do any good?

I have no Idea... I never used one .. buy a bunch of " stick -ups " till you get back ..

anyways, the first 8 days of flowering there shouldnt be too much stank right? i mean, its towards the end where it gets nasty?

Actual flowering takes several days to start after switching the lights to 12/12.

Set your light a little higher ,, in case they grow while your gone and dont get burnt,, But I think you'll be fine .. the plant has to switch modes it takes some time

Tie your plants down and flower them when you get back. If there are 13 inches now you can bring them down to about 8 or 9 inches.

my plants are in veg and they have already stunk my house out. they are in the cellar and when i walk in the front door you can smell it. im growing super skunk. get some oddor control now . cheap plug ins will help. if they are starting to smell now. your house will smell to high hell when they are in full flower. pinch a stem smell your fingers and thats gonna be the smell youll smell it thirty feet away. depending on the strain......count on it stinking up your house......the smell is the number one reason we get caught.

Spot on, they gonna stink!

If they aren't smelling now tho, then you should have 2 or 3 weeks after you put them into flower, before they become really fragrant.

I can't comment on the air purifier, I haven't used one. If they really worked tho I doubt so many people would be buying carbon filters? Just bear in mind that that weed will be smelling constantly, this product doesn't seem to be designed to deal with a constant odour.

Which leads me to the bit of advice I can give you, buy an inline fan and a carbon filter , If you want to be really sure that is.

you don't need to worry about odor control for a month or so yet. 8 days is not going to make the plant flower out a whole lot, and they mostly smell the last 4 weeks anyway. you will be fine.

Just wondering, What are your thoughts on the air purifier thingy?

with a carbon filter, will it stink the least bit?
will i have to keep it on 24/7??
is it noisy?
