Our bodies are given to us so that we may be able to live on earth while we prepare for another state of existece. This is what is meant by going to heaven, gaining eternal life and reaching a state of utterbliss. On the other hand, if we have neglected the necessary preparation while in this life, out progress will be greatly retarted, and shall be in that unhappy state which has been symobolized as hell.

Interesting opinion.. Perhaps God doesn't have to be the same one depicted in the Bible? Perhaps not the one depicted in any religion? Then what would you say. And as for the not making sense, if there is a god, and he is the creator of this world, then I don't consider myself anywhere near within his realms of knowledge and undertsanding, therfore not understanding our existence is one of the few things that makes sense, in my opinion.. People get so bent out of shape about a god because there are different religions and they feel those are the only God possiblities. Well I say drop that thought then where do you stand? You think we just suddenly appeared? I find this way too simplistic considering we are such complex forms of life and the way the world works seems a little to perfect to be expained by just a bang.
