What’s a decent 5x5 grow tent

Decent tent?
I don't have any complaints. Metal frame, three vents on the bottom, three at the top, one in the ceiling. Cross bars for hanging your light, fan, filter, etc... It serves the purpose it was intended for. There are more expensive tents but I'm completely happy with the Vivosun. In fact after I bought the 4 x 4 I was satisfied enough to by a 2 x 4 for a veg tent. I'm completely satisfied with that as well.

Seems like the lines like Vivosun will do the job but it trades 'robustness?' for economy. My Vivosun works well enough for a mother tent but if I was looking for a real tent, Gorilla would be the one.

Gorilla has very thick material, it feels much thicker in your hands than a vivosun or apollo.
That being said, my 5x5 Apollo is a very well built tent, and has served me well. It has little fabric strips sewn into the back of the zipper, so they overlap and keep out the light.
I would buy an Apollo and save the cash for other stuff.

I ordered myself a 5x5 gorilla. I like how you can get extension kits.

The cheapest totally lightproof tent in a true 60" x 60" x 80" format is made by VIPARSPECTRA, you can find them from $89 to $119 depending on where you buy it. I like getting my tents from Amazon because if it does has leaks you can just send it back without a hassle. But I have personally bought 10 of those for some of my patients that enjoy growing their own medicine and all of those 10 tents had no light leaks and they are made really well! Here is the Amazon link... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BXW12D9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

depending on size of room, 5x5 tent with fresh air vents, 1000w MH/HPS or CMH, 6 in carbon filter, 6 in carbon filter, and a couple clip fans
