Dynagro foilage pro is about as n00b friendly as you're going to get. You can use it from start to finish alone, and combined with some of their protekt silica treatment, you'll have some strong ass plants with minimal effort.

Shit's the bomb, and I use it for everything I grow, ganja and veggies alike.

I have been using ocean forest with unadjusted well water only for 5-6 weeks veg transplanting up every 2 weeks or so from solo cup to 1 gallon to 3 gallon to give root space and fresh nutrients.

Then about a week or two into flower in the final pot start with 5 ml Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow with a gallon of water and go up 2.5-5 ml each watering until I see leaf stress or about 15 ml. Some big vigorous plants see 17.5 ml.

Then maybe leach some pots if I see salt buildup or nutrient stress.

I taper back down the same way in reverse during ripening until I use water only the last watering or two before harvest.

Averaging 5.5 oz per plant in this system.

Most all brands of nutes i have found do their job quite well as long as you can half ass read your plant .

All depends on you if you want easy you go one part.

If you want customizable then you go with a multi part.


I have run gh,botanicare, canna, advanced,
And all preformed excellent if you do your part :)


Nowadays im trying hydrogardens chem gro 420 formula and im liking it

Almost crystal clear color wise just a slight tint
So far the plants love it but its my first run with it as well

start with half strength because its easier to correct a deficiency than fix the damage done by over feeding. also nutrient uptake is directly related to plant size which is limited to light and environment. the directions on nutrient bottles are written with the assumption your using 1000w for flower. 600w plants yield a lil over half what a 1k light will and require just over half the nutes plants under 1000 waters do. in a tent a hobbies should shoot for 1.5 lbs and will be using nutes at full strength. plants in a commercial controlled environment enriched with co2 get abought 3 lbs per light twice what a hobbiest gets in a tent and the commercial spot feeds around 1600 ppm that's almost twice the food.

those are 2 of the 3 fox farm bloom enhancers, cha-ching is the third. no nutrient is shit ( ha ha) if your buddy told you that either he never used it or he used it improperly. many people (not me) swear by ff nutes

Imo. all brands are more or less the same. (Marketing!) Do some research on each and see how others are using them online. See what is available around you. Pick something that you find is priced reasonably.

You really only need a good three part. Don't be "Sold" on buying a whole bunch of other stuff you don't "really" need. Once you dial in your basics, then you can play with additives and other fun nutrients if you so choose!

Ps. Organics are harder to work with than synthetics, but it does depend on your medium as well. (ie. a correctly ammended-organic-soil-mix would probably be super easy to use. But organics in hydro are trickier.)

exactly if you go dumping a bunch of shit in how do you know what is working for you and what is a waste of money. don't add more than one or 2 new things per cycle if you want to really know what each sup is doing for you

MEGACROP is probably the simplest as being a ONE NUTE for growth and flower.

( MaxiBloom actually can be used by itself with great results. ) They are available in powder form ( which has a better shelf life ) because some nute lines eventually separate in bottle and become pretty much worthless. ( hard bits at bottom ).

I really like Dr. Earth ... Very very easy to use . Liquid Solution ( 3/3/3 ) grows beautifully , then grab FLOWER GIRL for flower or Use MaxiBloom ... That's it. The ingredient list is superior to other high dollar brands ! But you must have it at PH 6.5 always.

I get at Home Depot ... Plus their website has all kinds of other products for when you get some more experience. All at a reasonable cost.

I have jumped on the mega crop band wagon also..... so tired of mixing 6 different bottles every feed

gorgeous plants. nice n healthy, weight per plant however is not a good way to measure success. I'm sure half the posters here, your self included MichiganMeduser, could veg and train a single plant to fill a 4x4 and get a pound from the one plant. don't get me wrong, love what ya have going on here!

The point was not the weight but the lack of additives or even a bloom ratio nute to get there. The results are from healthy plant potential not pushing the plants. I am maxed out around 2oz per gallon of potting mix from various strains/ crosses from seed.

I grow for quality first. Through happy plants and proper medium management. Yield is more measured by light and genetics after proper growing environment.

Hit dynagro up. They got a great sample pack for the cost of shipping. Less than 20 bucks.

Quart each of dynagro foliage pro 9-3-6 and protekt.
Pint each of bloom, magpro and rooting concentrate.

Call or email.

The foliage pro is a great one part bottle with so macro and micro nutes and does great from start to finish.

Have you used the mega crop all the way through and seen results?

It has way too many additives and an awful lot of calcium and silica. I would not want the extras in late flower. Especially the high cal mag and silica.

I have some here. I got the generous sample pack. I really like the ratio. Continued use concerns me. I am shy to change what works. And I am shy to use a forum advertised only product. Especially from such a small company.

Personally, I use GreenFarm innovations.

They pride themselves on taking the guesswork out of nutes and have a two part system - phenoGro for veg and phenoBLOOM for flower, it’s 15ml for every gallon every 7 days which I find is a good mix recommend by the manufacturer. In between waterings if needed I’ll use freshwater.

My plants LOVE it, no need to flush, I’ll continu using this forever.

I have used it all the way through on a number of plants now. Works great. All the journal I've seen have been good grows with healthy green plants.

It doesn't burn. I'm sure it can but if you follow directions it won't.

Actually some were saying it could use more calcium and mag.

Yeah I have seen pics here while Growers were saying that but I can see that the problem was verge of blocked roots from too much.

But there are so many variables to consider.

I'm looking at megacrop and I'm interested in switching I'm using roots organic original soil my question is I'm using cyco nutrients would that be to much with megacrops additives for the plant
