Whats a good ph reading?

if i have used the new ph tester correctly my soil is 7.1 and my tap water 7.5 good or bad? prob used it wrong

thats a little to high for your plants. try some ph down to get it around 6.4, 6.5

im led to beleive the slightest drop of vinegar will bring down your ph also.

To be honest i just got this ph tester today and maybe im doing something wrong ive tryed it in my pot out side in the garden and the reading hardly moves

it prob wont change dramitically if your just testing another pot? iv never used one like that before so im sorry i cant be more help. perhaps someone will come along soon that has the same tester or better advice

A PH of 7.0 in soil is perfectly OK. The lower PH figures you see discussed on cannabis boards... like 5.2 to 6.0 are for hydro grows.
