yes but itll take an hour or twoI'm looking at a 50 gpd. But it has a 4 gallon tank.
If it has 4 g tank does that mean I can grab 4 gallons pretty quick and then come back later and get 4 more?
I have an HL and hate it.Thanks dudes.
I will check out the hydro logic.
But honestly, if I can get a cheap one that drops the ppm and I can deal with the low gpd then I'll be alright.
I visit my room once a day so if I can fill my jugs with 4 gpd that will do fine. Thats 28 Gp week. That should do
Dude! That's why I love this site and so many of the members here.Anything 5-stage and you are golden. I use an ispring I got off Amazon for like 150, before that I had one by Eden filters, again off amazon, around same price... (was too lazy to uninstall old one for the price of a new one when I moved, lol)
Trick is, get the extra gear to go with it.... An ice maker hookup kit works nice... (Has the splitter, valve, and like 25ft of tubing) and also grab a float valve, and a 30-32gal Brute trash can.
Add in a ball valve w/ handle, punch that thru the bottom of the can, float mounted at the top, and you never ever worry about RO water again.
I have one in my basement, always 30gal of <5ppm water, and the filters are 8months old. Paired with the 2gal tank, and the faucet it cane with, and I always have fresh water for little things, drinking, cooking, coffee... and the brute has a garden hose for my buckets.
I DID have an issue a few months back, fair warning... buy a quality ball valve for the bottom "Out" line.... mine crapped out, I had to use a submersible pump for a bit til I got it empty enough to change the valve out, lol.
In the end, you will appreciate having the reservoir more than a larger R.O. it just takes too long without massive pressure. Its nice to know you can go to bed, and have the tank be full in the morning, no matter what you took out.
If that doesn't convince you.... remember this... In the event of emergency, or zombie apocalypse... 30gal of fresh water can be very important......
I'm already on it. Basically Ill hook that r.o. up under the sink. Run 25 feet to my res. Install a float.Anything 5-stage and you are golden. You could set the res up a foot or two, install a spigot/faucet and fill from there or run a line to the bucket(s) with another ball on it and crank it when you need water. Gravity feed it. Up to you really on how crafty it is.#IMOI'm already on it. Basically Ill hook that r.o. up under the sink. Run 25 feet to my res. Install a float.
So now how do i get my water out of there? I do have some spare sub pumps So i could just run a tube to my aero and water change day it will probably take 10 minutes to fill...
