Whats a good strain to grow for beginers

Never grew Nirvana strains, don't really have an eye for them, HOWEVER I got some ICE from a local shop and it would be worth growing, at least for 1 run.

I was told by a former member with decades of experience that sensi super skunk is an excellent strain for beginners. The seeds are cheap too.

I'm gonna be adding 1 or 2 to my outdoor this year just to see how resilient it really is.

I'v smoked some of the Sensi skunk, never grown. It was really good quality bud though, extremely stinky stuff that stood out from the other varieties going about here at the time.

DNA Genetics Rocklock is THE strain for beginners...for real...it is super easy to grow and you get good results even if you have no idea what you are doing, but great results if you do know what you are doing...it is a great learner plant...

I would simply avoid any 'Newer' hybrids that have little info on them. Try sticking to a good tried and tested strain that has good info out there. An example would be like Jack Herer, Ak47 or Northern Lights Etc. Also Cannabis Cup winners may produce great smoke, but they may have ridiculous pheno variation, be low yeilding and take longer to flower.
I dunno about Jack herer for noobs, unless you can get a sellected cut or maybe one of the indica dom versions...

Skunnk#1 Super skunk or MNS Shit (super skunk) none easier than a skunk

Aye your probably right. I guess my point was more about famous oldies being safer bets in terms of knowing what your getting before you buy and the like.

good old critical mass is a favoured by all. Yield, potency and easy to grow.

1 Critical Mass ( Mr nice or Dinafem)
2 Shit or Skunk#1 (easiest their is and still used in many strains)
3 Nemasis (seedsman, very easy and forgiving yields well. pic in avatar)
4 AK47

i'll second the nemesis. i just finished my stash of that stuff and it was definitely easy to grow. based on reviews i would stay away from most seedsman strains but that one was a winner. it had 11 fingered leaves all over the place, grew fast, and tolerated a lot of non-ideal growing situations. better than average yields, chunky buds, outrageous frost.

i'd put up a pic but for some reason my uploader is missing a ton of pics from the past month. i posted it somewhere. i'll see if i can find it.

edit: turns out i never used the uploader. i used photobucket :dunce:
here she is. she didn't even get to cure past 2 weeks before we smoked the whole 2 oz. not a bad yield for a 3 week veg and a 400w hps.
