I just bought a pack of qb132's there good for 300 watts. If you got 3- packs of qb132's (come in pack of 4 boards ) you would have between 800-1000 watts of led at the wall.
3- QB132'S (4pack) -$360
3- lrs-350-36 or hlg-320h-1750 led drivers -$120/$270
Then get some angle aluminum to build frame and some 18g solid core and you should be good to go !!
2700k flower !!!
3000k will do just fine in veg and kill it in flower
3500k is best of both worlds in my opinion
4000k more for veg but definitely will produce some frost !!
5000k veg !!!
If your fluent with electricity then maybe check out some of the strip build posts on rollitup. Alot of people build there own lights using bridgelux or Samsung led strips.
Though hlg uses the same 301b diodes as the high performing strips do...
It really all comes down to what your budget is and how much diying you want to do...
I just want to appoligize for jumping the gun a bit... i dont go on Alibaba much at all... ive never heard of kingbrite until just now... however i have heard of many people buying quantum boards on Alibaba... alot of them have great reviews but also i have found some information stating some of the brands on ALIBABA use lower bin diodes . Though idk if this is the same with kingbrite. Now that i do some research alot of people have gone with kingbrite this past year on rollitup and reddit.
Though my opinion still doesnt change... for the price it seems that you cant beat the QB132'S V2 with samsung 301b s6 binning.
In my opinion.... say you bought the 550w kit off alibiba... you hang it at 16-24 inches. A decent amount of space... now a qb132 can be mere inches from the plants. Providing alot more usable light energy at the canopy.
Ive done alibaba and been happy with it. But i never expect a "like for like" performance to HLG. Generally what i do is to just put as many diodes in that i can using larger FoTop boards which can run without heatsinks if you run them soft. The point is, if you know how to design your light it doesnt matter if your ali board runs a lower bin diode, you can easily make up for that by using more of them.
The premium of top bin is usually not worth it if you can over twice as many ali diodes for the same or lower price.

The seller is Meijiu on Alibaba, i allways deal with Rita, shes great but she tends to go off on anyone who question their diodes being s6.
For your space ,5x5, i dont know of a perfect setup. Maybe 4 in a square at around 200w each with one single cob or board in the middle in case you wanna dial in the light levels.
