what's better during flowering more light or more air?

I have 13 3 foot plants in a room about 1 meter wide made of mylar..that's hanging from the ceiling. I have 3 fans blowing on them at the moment but I'm half tempted to tear the whole thing down so they get more air. Will my 400 watt hps be enough by itself? Or should I not sacrifice more light for more air?

10 big plants 3 little plants.. most are 3 feet though

why not? a 400 watter outputs enough lumens in one cubic meter to successively gro pot .. as long as all the plants fit in those parameters why's does it matter?

I'm just asking would it reduce the light significantly possibily where it'd be a problem if I tore down the mylar?

I would say that the light is more of an issue to your grow setup,

How hot is it getting?? Must be very hot for you to consider taking down the mylar

No not at all.... it's actually been rather cold my air intake is form the outside and it gets pretty cold outside. I figure it would help stimulate flowering seeing how that's what happens outside.. I could be wrong.

I have had some minor issues with mildew though one of those buds smells a little like it.. I've upped the air flow and it seems to be helping.

If I could find my camera I'd take a pic to giveyou a better idea :(

You can increase airflow without completely ripping down the mylar.

Even if this requires you cutting a hole in the mylar to attach a fan or some sort, that will be much better than taking the whole thing down.

Especially considering you are growing so many plants, I would try to get everything out of that light that you can...

You are saying air is important during flowering but flowering is also one of the most important times to make sure that most if not all of the budsites are getting optimal levels of light, they need the light during the day to create the bud during the night.

stay tuned to these two thread for in site loaded pix. i noticed yesterday (my first visit here in a long time) that photobucket has lost all my pix.... these pix will be uploaded directly, so that they never dissapear ;)

i'm basically recreating the logs. set up is perpetual sog, 3kw flower room, four stations, four strains. i'll make a log of the other two as well, but i wanted to start these two first.
