What’s everyone using for cal-mag supplements that don’t contain nitrogen?

Title says it all haha
I’m running an rdwc with Floraflex and RO water. I’ve been using bontanicare cal/mag (2-0-0) and always run into dark leaves in flower, assuming from an excess of nitrogen. So I’m in the market for something else to supplement in that doesn’t contain nitrogen

Someone else here is running the same regimen and they ran into deficiencies without cal/mag just recently. They're in a drain to waste system not rdwc. I use GH Calimagic which is 1-0-0. Maybe that would be a sufficient reduction in N?

It's doubtful that the minor contribution of N from the CalMag is the primary cause of excess Nitrogen.
A ml/G of the Botanicare CalMg provides ~ 5 ppm Nitrogen.
You could half that by using GH CalMg as mentioned above.
The overwhelming majority of N will come from the base nutrients.

Yeah I was admittedly over feeding for a bit and burned up some leaves but I’d still like to cut out a bit of the nitrogen. I suppose I’ll give GH’s formula a try. Thanks

Swapping the CalMg brands will help a bit, but reducing the base nutrient source of Nitrogen is a better alternative if your objective is to reduce the Nitrogen concentration in your nute mix.

All "CalMag" type fertilizers contain calcium nitrate, magnesium nitrate and some chelated iron.
If it doesn't contain nitrogen it is not 'CalMag'.

The sulfates of calcium and magnesium can be used but gypsum takes it's time to dissolve. You need agitation.
