What's everyone using for grow room glasses?

I'm getting ready to purchase a pair of of hps/mh grow room glasses. I searched the forums and didn't find any info on this subject. I'm looking at the happy hydro grow room glasses. Has any one used them, are they any good? If not let me know what your using and how you like them.

Just get the cheap hps shades. They work great, and don’t cost $100. Use reg for mh bulbs.

Actually most sunglasses don't protect from uvc rays. So this is the reason why I asked about grow room specific glasses. Uvc is the most dangerous uv light for your eyes, and both hps and mh light give off alot of uvc. You should or probably make sure you know what you talking about before giving out information. Thank you for the reply though.

The glass of the bulbs and the air cooled hoods naturally block the UVB & C (or anything under 330nm). In actuality, its the UVA you need to be more concerned with since thats what is emitted and not blocked out by glass....which normal uv protected sunglasses will work just fine for.

so I have a qustion. this is my first indoor grow. I have a 4x4 tent with air cooled hood 1000w. should I be wearing glasses when I open it up. thanks for the info
